In a world afflicted by ‘truth decay’, the pleasures it has to offer takes us to a place where we lose our spiritual self.
What all the glittering does is that it has a hold on our sight, and our eyes stray towards everything that seems superficially priceless.
Doing so, we fall short and abandon the truth - the truth of His bound-by-grace Sacrificial Love.
Therefore seek The Truth; because in the midst of these worldly pleasures, ONLY God can truly satisfy our souls.
We may find temporary satisfaction in the things of this world, but they do not last. For everything eventually withers away, yet it is only Christ who is unchanging.
He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.
