@ mate just look at tigers grip alone in the bunker. He hold the club with his glove emblem facing way more outward/upward. This guy isn’t even set up to use the bounce of the wedge properly. Good try tho.
Far from scratch but better than most in my area. Honestly helps me get less frustrated when someone says this. Because of all the possible outcomes the green is always good
Well if you played like me and with the people I play with, if you see a shot like that, it’s super impressive. Might not be to you but since I have never played with a scratch golfer… that would blow my mind.
They sure do. Unfortunately, players don't seem to realize this kind of thing and assume they have to stick it close every time or they're dogshit. I'm guessing it's because the only pros they actually pay attention to are guys who are pretty much always hanging around the top of the leaderboard.
That was me as a junior.....I was such a prima donna/perfectionist.... Nicklaus said he was happy with one or two good shots...I got upset with one or two bad shots...I was hitting 14-20 greens as a Junior and 1 marker lol
I watched a pro tournament at my home course, turned up the day after and happened to pair up with the winner and his dad playing a round. It was AWESOME... (btw, the guy who threw his club is a dick)
Rahm a "-4"? Somebody doesn't know handicaps. He's probably like a +10. Also, I don't think you understand the point being made here. At all. People of all skill levels get mad.
Learn some stats, those actually aren’t bad shots. Possible birdie but most likely pars. You’re not hitting bogies with those though so he’s not wrong to say nice shot…
If you're a good golfer and you're 35 feet away from the pin when your approach was from 75 yards, it was a bad shot. It might not be a bad shot for YOU, but it is for a very good golfer. Same idea applies to the bunker shot. Learn golf, bud.

This shit is so funny & accurate. You’ll obviously miss hit one and they’ll be like “nice shot!”
Happens sooo often 😂😂
Better than an ass hole telling you that you suck
They??!!!!’ You mean most of the golfing world???
Yeah bad golfers shouldn’t even be allowed on the course THEY disgust me.

Fucking beautifully said mate.

Great take!
If I’m spending hours with someone, I’d be happy if they had positive vibes.
Golf is the great humbler. No one ever has mastered it... if somebody is cocky, it is a cover up for feeling inferior. Remember what Trevino said , " even God can't hit a one iron. "
This is spot on, I got a buddy who says “nice shot” anytime your drive gets in the air regardless of where it ends up lol
😂😂
Average vs scratch. Its the difference between hoping to hit the green on a par 3 vs expecting a birdie
I love how the internet does full analysis on comedy. lol
😂😂
Next they'll start telling what was wrong with his swing. 😄
Drive slices into the Forrest across the street…. “Nice shot bro” 😂😂😂
😂😂
even better would be " no worries, happens to me too"
When you start to understand being scratch but having the mindset of your friend in this video, you'll shoot even lower scores.
True!
Well said
*barely get out of the bunker, still on the fringe
“Great out bro”
😂😂
Well yeah, out is good
This is way too accurate 😂
Which of these players is which?
😂😂
Ain’t no scratch golfer setting up to a bunker shot like that 🤣😂
Missing the point....
Wrong. Almost identical to how Tiger sets up to his bunker shots 😂 along with just about every decent bunker player haha

How many takes do you think he did there.. don't be so gullible
@@dbo4506he has a ton of forward shaft lean at address which is the opposite of what you need in the bunker
The best is when you neck a drive but it goes dead down the middle. It feels awful, but it looks good to your buddies.

I like this outlook
Club toss was perfect 😂
More like a club throw 😂
The approach shot was hit way fat 😂
Which person's the scratch golfer is the real question 😂
I picked up a club in 2016, couldn't break 100. I did then 90. Then 80. Shot a 73 in competition 6150 yards at 49. I love Golf
That’s awesome! What’s the handicap at now 9 years in?
It's 11, I'm a drinker so 78 sometimes 88 others.
Yeah this is how I was when I started. If I saw one of my friends ball get more than 10 feet off the ground I would be like heck yeah brother!
😂 They must have gotten angry with you a lot
@kangaroo_golf I think they appreciated the glazing lol
I never say good shot for this reason, plus there’s no need for useless chatter on the golf course. I enjoy the peace and quiet
Shit is so accurate lol. Nothing worse than heel shanking one to the corner of the green and getting a great shot
I feel called out 😂
Haha we’ve all done it

Good question 😂
Loll this is so real
I played with 2 + handicaps yesterday, I'm an 11. I had a bad day 90.. I could tell they were annoyed.

I wouldn't be mad at the 1st shot if it for birdie. but the Bunker shot i would be angry with and im no where near scratch🤣
