I just got my f250 shocks form the junk yard. I have 3 inch cups under my springs so I’m going to keep those. Hopefully the new shocks gets rid of the roughness.
Man I was 3 sheets to wind when I wrote this last night James. I have airbags on the marquis. Lol. I should be able to lift it a bit pretty easy. I have never owned a Vic but this is still good stuff to know.
Nice work. The job would have been easier with those u-bolt spring clamps they sell at AutoZone.... they are used to actually squeeze the spring to lower the car but you could have used them to squeeze the spring to make it short to go in, then unbolted the clamps to make the spring go up to the tall height.
Hey how are you doing my brother, I have an1995 grand Marquis what year springs do I need to lift it up, another question what size tires are you running
@@jaye23able my girl ended up buying me a 3 inch lift kit off lifta brand for my birthday. So I’ll just order the rear shocks off a 99-02 F150 and I’ll be good ?
ii bought the shocks from Auto Zone, the coil springs i got from a 2000 Expedition at my local junk yard. the shocks are for a 2001 F-150. monotube shocks.
In the shocks. What else can you recommend? Can I get the regular shocks to the car to put on with the Expedition coil springs would it work? or 92 f150 rear shocks the year of my car
Airshocks are better they have a 2 different part of the shock those f150 shocks will over work them selves trying to hold the weight or these cars it’s lifting an absorbing the car that not what there used for but whatever

Yeah, holy moly those expedition springs are long. This stuff is good to know. Wouldn’t mind lifting my 03 marquis for serious winter action.
