It is mainly the price that makes it bad. That being said. If I had to choose between these 2, I would pick the 4060 Ti. The 7700 XT price is worst and less VRAM.

Turn textures and shadows down 1 notch and youll get solid 4k fps, trying to run 4k ultra is just stupid imo even on a 4080, people be trying to keep up with tv refresh rates 😅😅😅😅
Agreed! Some games going from high to ultra you gain very little visual but suck up much more VRAM. I am a little more lenient on FPS and refresh rates since I play on console too.
@@casualpcreviews4k ultra from my expierence 77x can run it on ultra what the trick is reduce rendering to 70-80 % u will get 50-60 Fps on High End Games 100% and enjoy it + your Gpu will works on 60-80 % UTILIZATION and cpu and gpu heats will be 50-60 c degree ! i try it on 3080 10 gb rdr2 i got 50-60 fps and gpu 65-70 c
Seeing these benchmarks, it seems like they designed this card to meet the bare minimum for 4k gaming. 16 Gb of VRam is definitely more ideal for those resolutions instead of 8 and the performance matches the DLSS usage well. Quality will give you a cinematic look, balance in between cinematic and smooth, performance that perfect or close to 60 fps, and ultra performance over 60 fps, I would only recommend using ultra performance for 4k resolutions and up. Anything lower than that it’s gonna look REALLY ugly.
The 7700XT is not a 4K GPU. Sure, we can run games at 4K with a 7700XT, but do we really want to have to turn down settings? Isn't all that pretty the reason we play at 4K?

But if we think about they are settings, that give you noticabli higher quality if you go one setting up, and they are the ones that consume considerably more resources at higher settings, but the visual difference is very little. So i think we can play with to optimize the quality-resource ratio

I would say 2K. This is coming for someone who games at 4K. Easier to get better FPS and higher graphics settings at 2K. Unless you want to buy a 7900xtx or 4090/4080
I try not to cherry pick the best running areas since it can mislead the performance. I try to show the areas that will show potential frame/performance drops when the settings are pushed higher. However, I have not perfected it

The 4060 ti performs much better than what the internet wants you to believe. I didn't expect it to be relatively on par with the 7700xt.

Right now on Newegg the lowest price 4060 ti 16gb is $449 while the lower price rx 7700xt is $399 including 2 games and has been on sale for $379.
Glad I chose the 4060 TI, I don't believe everything I hear...this card is solid and sips the power with memory to spare.

350+ $ GPU and RTX off is a no go for story games. So 4060ti anytime.

it's all depend what game you play, I use 4060ti 16gb on age of empire 3 at 8K turned off light effect and all setting at high, 30-40 FPS, works good
