For most of the games, the 4060 Ti looked smoother than the 7800 XT even though the 7800 XT had a higher framerate.. ESPECIALLY Ratchet and Clank at 5:41. I'm confused lol I feel like my 7900XTX + 5800X3D is a bit laggy with 1440p high settings in most games ever since I got it and I can't find a reason for it. Maybe it's just an AMD thing

How come the temperature is so cool? I ran AW2 smoothly on 1080p, but the temp sometimes reached 90c. I have the Xfx qick 308 model.

So as someone who wants to get into PC gaming .. is a Rysen 7 5800x and a 4060ti a good combo for gaming ?!

If AMD could improve their RT performance, upscaling, add Ray Reconstruction and have a good alternative to Nvidia Reflex. Then they would be a viable alternative. If I buy a high end GPU I want it to be able to do all things well. I used AMD in the past and had nothing but problems with driver's. Now they've gotten better but their availability to keep up wirh Nvidia has diminished considerably because of RT. Il buy a 8000 Series if they actually imporve otherwise my 4090 will still be the better GPU.

Right now on Newegg the lowest price 4060 ti 16gb is $449 while the lower price rx 7700xt is $399 including 2 games and has been on sale for $379.

The 7700XT is not a 4K GPU. Sure, we can run games at 4K with a 7700XT, but do we really want to have to turn down settings? Isn't all that pretty the reason we play at 4K?

This test is made to make the rx 7800 xt looks better than the rtx 4060 ti in every situation, by the games tested, and even when you test heavy ray traced games you don't push the rx 7800 xt that far so that it keeps it advantage, this isn't what we want to see, show us the reality in every situation imaginable

I'm surprised how good the 7800XT actually is for the current price it runs with. i only wanted a good graphics card with lot of VRAM for VRChat but knowing the performance on 1440p opened my eyes and got me excited to buy it once i have enough money for my first PC build

feels bad for the people buying a $500 4050ti, you can get a used 3090 FE for that.
