The work? What? It's just a picture of text with a short voice-over. You make it sound like she's putting relevant clips and pics from the games in the back-ground and expanding on the lore in the texts... which she isn't. It's a very minimal amount of work put into these videos. No offense of course, I'm just being real.
@@colt4505 But she does tho, she has a lot of videos like that, and tbh there is effort in searching for all codex. That's hundreds and hundreds of hours of playing and searching and making a lot of different runs and choices

I'm a long time TTRPG GM for DA and I remember that written somewhere was information about a race of ""Lizard People" within the DA lore. When I googled "lizard people Dragon Age" on Google it took me to the page "Scaled Ones" on the DA Wiki. It doesn't have a lot but I was wondering if anyone else had dug up any additional info on this potential 5th Race of the DA Universe... Hey @ghil do you think It's possible for possession to be stopped by say, binding a spirit to an animal and then binding that new creature with the a mage? Essentially it's like a type of familiar, which I don't think I've seen in this franchise.
I want to say no? Only based on the idea that binding an animal (even a possessed one) to you doesn't seem like a good enough explanation to me to prevent possession. Something similar does happen with Zathrian in DAO- mage binds a spirit to a wolf, and somehow the two are linked. Other than long life, I'm not sure what other effects it caused. But honestly the series hasn't (or really, probably couldn't) explain the mechanics of possession enough to forbid it. If its for a TTRPG or a head cannon, it sounds cool enough to not care about the lore, haha.
@@GhilDirthalen that's fair, after all there was one mention in this video about the veil between the material world and the fade being more about perception than any kind of physical barrier. Considering how perception isn't just about sensory stimulus but also cognitive understanding, I'd say your conclusion definitely has merit.
I find it really interesting that the Chantry doesn't assert that the Maker is infallible. The Chant of Light's account of the Firstborn outright confirms that He is capable of making mistakes. I wish I could talk to a Revered Mother IRL. Hearing Chantry apologetics would be fascinating.
