The show I've used clips of John Hurt from is actually the same one that his reflection in Night of the Doctor was taken from - it's a 1979 BBC production of Crime and Punishment.
Very enjoyable, amazingly put together. Having seen a number of compilations have read about the time it takes to achieve the finished result, so always impressed.
It's very interesting, because instead of focusing on the Time War and what happened after, you made this from the point of view from the past. How the Classic Doctors would react to such catastrophic event and how it change them. I dunno, meanwhile it's "easy" seeing 10 and 11 forgiving War Doctor for what he did, it would be wholesome too that 4, 3 and the rest before of him forgive him for what he was about to do, this time without really knowing what could happen next. Now, the Timey Wimey of the third act would still happen, and now the War Doctor (and 9 at the end) would be the only one that could remember, avoiding that "fake memory" arc from the first 7 season of Modern Who.
I was initially planning to get 'part 1' to a 20 mins ish runtime like classic episodes, which I think is possible I'll just need to do a bit more - I thought the cliffhanger should be the War Doctor arriving and then them all getting put in the Tower. I have some plans for a part 2, but if it comes it will be after doing an improved version of this I think
That was fun. Thank you for all your work and your scoring choices were good. I’m looking forward to a continuing series… Keep it fun and you’ll succeed. Pity RTD doesn’t understand that. 🥰🧸
Really love the period accurate beam effects! The brief still of the model of the citadel made me giggle! A better soundtrack choice during the Time War scene would be this: ruclips.net/video/NH7dyOx2kI0/видео.htmlsi=dZhX35zdJ7EYqf5j Rather than the 4th Doctor’s regeneration music.
This is quite rough around the edges, and the music definitely needs some improvements, I think I used two or three tracks from season 18, and not to the best possible effect, though the 5 Doctors does overuse the sting of the theme tune from the 4th Doctor's regeneration whenever anything Doctor-y happens so I was basing it on that. The lasers were fun to do, and worked surprisingly well I think. The still of the model citadel is from here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314283450194, so credit to the eBay seller there: when I found it it just worked perfectly.
Honestly, bit of an accident of how I exported it (as in, it's actual bad compression not an effect), and this was mostly a test to see how much of it I could make work so I left it.
In 1981 I was aged grotty 12 years old, and how I would love to have been the age I became 7,8,9,10, 11,12 or even 13 years later 19,20,21,22, 23, 24 or even older 26 or even 30 or 30 plus.
Absolutely love this, but I feel old for I remember them all!!! But no more,no more, BBC has been taken away here in America And after all these journeys No more, no more!!! GaryBailey KingofDarkness
"Hello"
"Teeth and curls ?"
By Gallifrey that was brilliant
Like that John Hurt's end credit is "The War Doctor Who" 🙂
I love that the War Doctor is still John Hurt.

Ironically Steven Moffet could write doctor who when this would’ve come out he was 20 in 1981
Why do I almost like this more than the actual show?! 😅 I want part 2!

Would love to have seen JP and TB in the Five Doctors together 😁😁😁
This video is awesome in billions of ways.
What a cliffhanger to end on xD
Part 2 Please !! Excellently re imagined !!
Thank you!

I like it, Want part 2.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
Really cool. Job well done.
Brilliant video.
Oh look, a real Dr Who.

This is BRILLIANT
First Class work.
😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆
In the Classic Series, Stevens were Stephens.
The rubbish spelling
Spelling two credits wrong is quite bad, oh dear
Better than the real thing!
Great work.
WOW -- when do we get episode 2?? LOL
What's with the bad video compression? I get the old analog video and era titles, but bad compression is a 2000s thing.

Borusa said the moment became sentient, but Nemesis and the hand of Omega were sentient too.
I was just getting into that. Episode 2 on the way? 😁

Both the Pluto app and the Roku app are free and each has a Classic Who channel that runs 24/7. 🙂
*Borusa *Castellan
well, short and sweet. Better than the dross they’ve served for the last 5 years or so, and no doubt immensely better than what Disney is making…
Sure it was all pants wasn't it....?! 🙄
Is this why the doctor turned batty?
Just fyi you misspelt "Borusa" in the credits
Oops
Somehow young John Hurt does not seem rough enough for the role.
