This is "group by" not "sort by". How can I use "Group by = none" and make folders and files be sorted together I want folder M to be shown after file A

Everyone wants to just be able just drag a file into the order they want but apparently this can't be done unless you have Windows 7 or earlier
Why they took this ability away from us is beyond me

Hi, watched this thinking it was something else. I want to be able to sort all folders within folders at the same time. The technics shown here, only apply the open folder.
Eg: If I go into any random folder, that has 200 folders, and in each of those has 200 , and they are all in an unsorted order, can I not do something to batch sort each one within?

If I Organize my files by date, will this change the file name at all, when the date is changed?
