Capcom never really was good at estimating weight. Every character here (besides the small girls) should be at least 20kg heavier, than they are listed. Zangief, Honda, Marisa und Blanka should be at least 100kg heavier. But Terrys weight is ridiculous. With his height and his physique, they should have made him at least frpm 85-90kg (for Capcom estimation)
@@hgh8848 The only explanation i can think, is the dude is super agile. Rising Tackle itself defies most logic you can apply to Street Fighter. Burn Knuckle and Crack Shoot has him basically fly himself across the screen, and he just gives the finger to gravity with Power Dunk. You can apply realism to it. But in the end, it’s a video game about strong, cool-looking people that shoot spirit energy at eachother. It doesn’t have any need to try being realistic completely, especially for small trivial stats such as weight that don’t have any implications on how they perform in-game, which is mostly what people focus on when it comes to fighting games, unless you’re the type that doesn’t play and just reads about the characters.

And it's not that hard for Capcom to adjust the weight and make it a lot more realistic in proportion to chosen character sizes. Different franchises like for example LOL is also able to do it. Hell, even Tekken gets the character stats better done than Capcom

I sometimes wonder about all this sort of stuff too, then I have to realise basically these characters are one step removed from Marvel Super Heroes with their abilities and ridiculous jumping almost flying at times in a straight line at each other😅 I remember questioning how they travel around the world, arrest free beating the shit out of eachother with no medics, no real referee, no one ever dies or loses limbs and they just carry on!

I wouldn't have it any other way, it makes him more endearing as Japan's vision of the ideal American. Whereas dubbing him over in perfect English makes him a bit cringey because an actual American wouldn't talk or behave like Terry does.

not really, based on the trailer ik he has way better combos than this ai this ai honestly sucks, made a lot of stupid descisions and i think in general level 7 cpu arent too good at sf i train on 8 and i think 8 is when they start to get good sure i win most of the time but sometimes they do something smart that im not expecting to pull the game back in their favor
