Fitting Alloy Wheels & Tyres To VW T4 Camper - Load Rated Alloys & Tires

- In this short video I swap my steel wheels for Wolfrace load rated alloy wheels & tyres. Fitting alloy wheels is a simple job and changing wheels on the van can be done in under an hour. I ensure the alloy wheels I fit are load rated so they can handle the weight of the van. The tires are also load rated to ensure they can also handle the weight of the van. The alloy wheels are 18" with a 235/50/18 tyre profile which gives a good amount of sidewall to cushion the ride out. The alloy wheels are secured to the van with longer 35mm bolts and locking wheel nuts (LINKS BELOW) for safety. What size are your alloy hub. I've got 8or 7 j on mine and there catching the front arches.
great informative vdo, thanks. I have a SUV (kerb weight 1850 KG0. I have fitted alloys wheels of load rating of 690 kg each. They fit perfectly but are after market. Is the load on the alloys okay? or should I go for more heavy load rated alloy wheels like yours? THANKS

I can't remember now and I've sold the van so can't check, I think 35 but not 100% sure on that
