- In this short I have a game theory where William Afton is responsible for making the doppelgangers that you're trying to keep out in That's Not My Neighbor. All because of an alien threat invasion that is abducting people and making them their slaves.
This is a short for That's Not My Neighbor by Nacho Sama. A game where you need to spot the doppelgangers pretending to be neighbors. Imagine Papers Please but as a horror game!

That's not my Neighbor is a 2D job simulator and horror game created by Nacho Sama. It was released on February the 24th, 2024 and is exclusively playable on Microsoft Windows. It's available for a small price on its itch.io page. The game is currently incomplete and is still being worked on. The game was inspired by Papers, Please, but with a horror twist.
In the year 1955, monsters with the ability to mimic humans called doppelgangers have become an everyday nuisance. As the new doorman of your apartment building it is your job to discern sneaky doppelgangers who wish to infiltrate from regular tenants just looking to go home. But careful! Should you fail both you and the tenants are going to be on the menu.
From The Game Page:
The Doppelganger Detection Department (D.D.D.) needs you!
There is a vacancy for the doorman position in your building and since you need the money and can't find a job you have no choice.
It's 1955 and for unknown reasons doppelgangers are more common than normal, so the D.D.D. has taken action on the matter.
Your job will be to allow or deny the entry of the subjects who request entry to the building, it seems easy, but be careful, you can't overlook any detail because you could be food for doppelgangers.
A 'Neighbor' Is the in game term for the human residents at the building the player works at. These are who the doppelgangers are posing as. It is the players responsibility to allow the real neighbors through while deterring the doppelgangers.
Neighbors are actual humans, who are harmless and normal. Neighbors can forget items such as hats, their information and their entry pass. When questioned about the forgotten items, neighbors will hand over identification.
