Nice video but you spoke for long said a lot but not enough I watched it to the end yet a lot of info was left out 1. People made request to learn how to do PR, a detailed one checked all your videos didn’t see anything 2. You didn’t even show what a Canadian resume looks like 3. You didn’t mention what platforms you used to apply for the jobs 4. How did you do the interview? Did you get the job while still in Nigeria, did the recruiter know you were in Nigeria during the interview process 5. How much time did the hiring company give you to get to Canada from the time you got the job 6. Did you start your Canada visa application before you got the job or after 7. How’d you negotiate your pay … I know it seems a lot but a lot of people assumed by your title this is what they will find by watching this video
Hello there! :) thanks for your comment. 1. I mentioned in another video that I won’t be able to do a detailed video talking about PR. I also left my email address and asked people to reach out if they had burning questions they needed me to answer. A couple of people have sent emails and I have responded. 2. I talked extensively about how a Canadian resume should look like i.e what to add and what not to add. Also recommended that if you needed help the comment was free for you to pop in questions. 3. You are right, it wasn’t mentioned but if you really watched the video, you would see that at point 12:50 (time stamp) I left pictures on the screen of LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor. 4. The title literally says ‘How to get a job in marketing before landing in Canada’. I also mentioned I used a platform called Dingtone to roam my line so I could receive calls in Nigeria from Canada. The hiring manager didn’t know I was still in Nigeria. 5. Standard time is 2 weeks. 6. I mentioned in the video that I already had permanent residency before applying. I’m sure you missed that 7. Companies usually have a budget (range) for the roles they put out. It is left for you to negotiate based on what is being paid to someone in your industry with the same level of experience and skills Final notes: I mentioned in the video that doing an intensive research is paramount. Dont expect to find all your answers in one video. Also paying attention to details will help you a lot as it is a required skill not just for a job but to survive here. 💓

Hey there! 🫶🏾 My pathway was different from the regular express entry route. I applied through provincial nomination because the Ontario government sent me a notification of interest for my NOC. Hey there! Most employers conduct interviews virtually but in the case where they want it to be in person, then you can have that arranged. Remember my tips are based on if you have a permanent residency or any permanent status in Canada. Hope this helps 🫶🏾

Hey! I had dry skin prior to moving here. And it’s worse now because the weather is super dry! On top of that I break out here and there. I guess it’s normal for your skin to react since it’s such a huge transition. x

Do one still need permanent residence address I their cv if they are not a permanent resident
Hmmm I’m not sure how it works if you aren’t a permanent resident. Most employers prefer job applicants who have this status. Hope this helps x
