My husband and I have 2 daughters. They are teens now and I still see the emotional face my hisband gets when they just melt into him and want hugs. Best feeling in the world.
One of mine and my husband's core memories are from when our niece was little. She hated everyone but her mom and dad. We were at a large party at my aunts house. She was probably about 2.5-3 years old. She was running around and didnt recognize anyone. Then she saw my husband and yelled his name and went running to him with open arms. He was shocked, cause she hated everyone. But he scooped her up and got the biggest hug. Then went so proud to my brother, sister in law, and my parents to tell them what happened 😂. She is 10 now and a lovely young lady who loves everyone.
