    That's just too Awesome!! Having the help of your elders teaching you how it's done ✔ 👍
    When I was a child ( back in the day) We took baths in a tub exactly like that, we had to haul water, heat it & take turns. The youngest was always last. That was me lmao 🤣 😂

    I was wondering if you would make juice/cider from your apples.
    If you haven't considered it before, consider dehydrating some apples. I dipped slides/chunks of Apple in bottled lemon juice, then dropped into sugar and put into dehydrating racks. You could use a low heat oven, too. Oh my, they were delicious, like candy. We gave away dehydrated apples to our good friends at Christmas, along with a blend of ground or coarsely chopped dehydrated peppers. All were labors of love.

    I like how Europa canns food. It is so much easier then the many many steps in the way Americas canning. In The American method, we do what u did but then we put those jars ( only these special jars with sellable lids that come in 2 part) in big pots then covered with water and boiled for about 45 -60 minutes.
    I’m new at this p, so I’m going to do it ur way for 1/2 and see how it comes out.
    Thank you for showing me new things. Love ur videos. Ur friend in CA.

    Wow it amazing what you guys do to put up all the apples and everyone is working together. I haven’t seen this kind of neighbor bonding since I was a kid. So many traditions have stopped here in the States everything is disposable and no thought as to how it use to be. I miss those days.

    It is a really good way to use lots of different varieties of apples to save wasting them, - there are only so many apples you can eat! Could you feed some of the leftover pulp to animals or do you just add it to compost?
    Presume you boil the apple juice to enable you to keep it for longer?
    Could you use it before that stage to make apple cider or apple wine?
    Thank you for showing us the process.

    • @DoBeDiff
      @DoBeDiff  4 года назад +5

      Yeah, mostly we mixed the apples to have a nice taste, sour with sweet apples and some pears as well. It makes a good taste and in the video we boild the juice, without boiling in only stays few days, it becomes cider or wine. Most of the apples will stay under the trees and rot away, it's too much to pick up and we don't have so much space or can't eat so many haha 🤔😁

    Hello Deived, like very much your work ethic, I don't want to seem pushy. Its very nice to all of your area joining to help. I can't see all of your work time, when working on the haus its time to be more safety concerned, it only takes a split second for a bad thing to happen. As a new family one needs to think if I hurt myself, how will this result affect your other family members. (A LARGE BRICK WILL BREAK MY TOE / A CHIPPED BRICK MAY TAKE OUT ONE EYE and the list goes on and on. Safety First and always! Be safe my distance friend. The things you do with the chicken, goose droppings and any other products including the used apple parts. If you were to compost these items for at least a year and use it in your garden you would see a large improvement in the garden soil and produce. It helps reduce weed growth, help retain some moisture and replenish some nutrients back into the soil.

    Wow! So great to see communities working together like that! With this and the potatoes! Did you keep all those potatoes yourselves or did you give some to those who helped you? And were those apple juices that you showed at the end all from your own apples or was it what the neighbors gave you from their trees or did you combine yours with theirs or what?? :) Great video!!

    You’ve been blessed with good neighbors. That’s priceless. Are you selling some things made from your harvest? Or everything is for your personal use?

    • @DoBeDiff
      @DoBeDiff  3 года назад +1

      It's all for our use, we don't make even close to sell any! All the bottles where split between many people who helped so not much would go for selling and there is many large farms selling cheaper and wouldn't be worth it at small scale! But the juice can last more than a year so it's not something you have to drink straight away! 😊❤

      @@DoBeDiff It’s a little bit saddening that you can’t have a little income from your land. But it’s great that you can save money because you can produce some of the things that you and your farm animals eat. Maybe in the future in some place in your land you can build something and renting it as a vacation place. Your land is so beautiful all year round. Wish you guys all the best. ❤️

      Don't know been thought here by generations and many other European countries, it apparently helps to seal and it sterilizes the cap as you place the burning hot liquid on it! Might help might not but just something my Grandma thought me! ❤😊
