To anyone wondering why Austria was shattered in Jan 1940, it’s because it was finally broken up into provences, and Ostmarkt was the name the Germans gave for the Austrian territory, the light gray regions are I think lands that were decided to be considered the Austrian region

I am a bit jealous of the Czechs, they got the sudetenland where Germans actually lived but we Slovenes couldn't even get the majority Slovene parts of southern Austria. A shame.

@@ellidominusser1138Sudetenland was always Czech "But there were ethnic Germans" Yeah, they immigrated there. Sudetenland always was part of Bohemia, ever since the 9th century. Austria had nothing to do with Sudetenland.
@@Moravian_Mf And Austria has nothing to do with Burgenland (Őrvidék) Giving that region to Austria made no sense as it was consistently Hungarian from our arrival to Trianon. Even the Habsburgs kept it in the Hungarian region. Give me a good reason for why it couldn’t stay Hungarian other than losers must be punished. Especially considering Austria lost the war too and they were the ones who dragged us into it

'Felvidék' was always Slovakia occupied by you. Carpathia also isn't and wasn't rightfully yours, just another occupied land.

Czechoslovakia consisted of Bohemia, Moravia, part of Silesia, Slovak Lands and Carpathian Rus.
Bohemia, Moravia and Lower Silesia all referred to as the Czech lands were (and are) Western Slavs. And so were Slovaks and Carpathians were Slavs too. For that reason, Czech, Slovaks and Rusyns could unite under a Slavic country. The whole purpose of Czechoslovakia was to protect the sovereignty/independence of the Slavs on those lands.
The 'occupation' of Slovakia was literally so they would be freed. Czech and Slovaks politics agreed on it and Czechs came to help Slovaks and Rusyns fight for freedom.
Hungary was never and never will be the real owner of Slovakia and Carpathia, those two were oppressed by you all (Even though I gotta give you credit, it wasn't that bad as most Europeans but still terrible) and wanted independence and freedom.
