Já é maravilhoso estar nessa Terra Santa e à noite então...sem palavras para expressar. Obrigada por mais uma noite serena de paz absoluta!!! 💝❤🙂
I continue to marvel at the changes to this city: changes for the better. When I lived there its character, even in the "new" city still reflected its ancient past. The whole city felt old even gritty. Yet I loved it then as now. How I remember going through Dung gate on my way to Damascas gate and the wide open Kotel plaza. No security checkpoint! The odors of the old city, especially in the areas the municipality was replacing the Ottoman sewer system! In the Jewish Quarter the remains of the Hurva synagogue was turned into an open air memorial plaza with no plans to reconstruct it. Then there was the City of David: the Ophel. That exposed area you began your video with that was excavated by Kathleen Kenyon was basically neglected. Finally, it is treated with the respect it deserves. Jerusalem is growing up into the beautiful woman we knew, back in the 1970's, she would eventually become. Thanks again Dima for your varied videos showcasing Yerushalim shel zahav!

I expected the heart of the city to be lively but was pleasantly surprised to see The City of David, the Western Wall and the Jewish Quarter positively pulsing with light, life and music! Where there are Jews there is life! ....L' Chaim! Great Summer Stroll...

Magnifique, votre vidéo donne envie de venir à Jérusalem et même d'y habiter. Ce que je ressens en visionnant ces images, c'est la joie, la paix, la liberté dans la ville éternelle. Combien plus belle encore sera la nouvelle Jérusalem, celle où Dieu lui même habitera avec son peuple bien aimé. Je suis étonnée de la largeur des rues, et de leur propreté.
