  • Oh my goodness. Are you in for a treat! Please meet my newest co-instructor, Alexis Sanderson. She is a Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) Level 3/4. She is 8 years old and terminally adorable. She can walk with trunk support well, pretty well with 2 hands held, and short distances with 1 handheld. She can walk in a walker with help to steer. She needs a wheelchair for longer distances. She has a communication device. She is learning to drive a power wheelchair. She has an excellent understanding of what is said to her. She is a great worker and a joy to work with.

      I strongly suggest that if you’re two-year-old is having trouble sitting and holding up their head that you find a local therapist to assist you. Here is my sitting balance playlist.
