I stayed here with a group of work friends many years ago , we slept in the courtyard apartment, it was spooky to say the least ! my friend looked after me as I got really scared anyhow we ended up together and he is now the love of my life ! , so great memories of chillingham castle.

I have visited the UK many times but I never had heard of Chillingham Castle and so, I have never been there. I certainly feel I missed a trick. 🙋♀️🥰🇺🇸🙏👻

I've just got home from a visit and a stay at Chillingham. It's the most fantastic place I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, and being able to stay was incredible! Already planning my next visit, to hopefully include a ghost hunt! I felt the castle had a peaceful, inviting atmosphere, except the Edward I room, which gave me a distinctly uneasy feeling! Cannot wait to return to this amazing place!!!

Shame nobody ever mentions the Chillingham Cattle in these videos, considering the amount of cattle skulls and horns adorning the Castle.

What a load of crap Chillingham castle is. The family stayed there for a few days and couldn't get away quicker enough.its not haunted. Nothing happened while we were there they lied about the kings room that the king made them put a window in the room but if you researched the castle you can see that there was no window in that part as old photographs show.thr rooms where you stay is full of old odd bits of furniture probably from secondhand shops plus webs and dead flies in the dust filthiest place I've ever stopped the only things scariest thing about it is the cows around the area 😅
