Your base pieces need to connect on empty walls; windows or lockers inside or even plant pots too close will prevent connection. Rotate base pieces with mouse wheel! If you are too close you can block construction with your character.
habitat's looking good! You have a certain structural integrity that, if it goes negative, will flood your base. It'll pop up in your top left corner. (Only pointing it out because it did pop up, I think you were just preoccupied!). So that's why you suddenly had an indoor swimming pool xD
no no absolutely ! thank you!! i do tend to have some tunnel vision and miss obvious things so pointing them out is always so so helpful!!:) i'll try to improve my "structural integrity" i wonder if foundations help that?? 🤔
If no one has told you yet there’s a pda pause feature you can use anytime that can be very useful and it’s located in escape>options>accessibilities>pda pause.
Well, I've watched the entire series, and it seems like you're rushing through places. Anywhere you find ONE thing, is worth searching the entire area slowly. For example, the code you were missing for Cabin 1 in the Aurora was in the locker room leading to the Prawn Bay ... you just needed to take your time and look at all of the lockers (you missed a PDA). Likewise, you didn't search the area near Commander Keen's pod ... you would have found Rubies if you had taken your time there. Every one of the Lifepod signals takes you to a new area with valuable stuff to find "nearby" (and I can't even begin to explain how much you missed on each of the islands 🤣). Your camera whips around a lot, and I wonder if you're using the keyboard to turn right and left? You can pan slowly using the mouse. Looking around slowly, and looking for details, is critical. Also, the light from a PDA gives it away every time, but it can sometimes be washed out by your own light source. Turning off your lights every once in a while and looking around slowly can be a big help. I hope you're well, wherever you are, and whatever you're doing! 🤗
Yeah, this game really rewards systematic exploration, where you say, "Ok, let me explore the north side first, then the west side...then the top, then the bottom, etc" as opposed to just running around willy-nilly.

It's not Titanium that you give to the Stalkers, it's Metal Salvage 😉
When they pick up a piece they have a chance to drop a tooth (it's not always)
I can't wait for the next one. Sorry it took me some time to catch up.

They don't die. They just get severely concussed and have a headache forever now.
