I think it is a good option for travel and quick gigs ... not heavy ! but then gain if you want to drag a grand piano around that is an option portability and simply having a good time I thin it is great !
Two other important improvements: 1. The speakers are now 13 watts total (vs. 5 watts on the original CT-S1). This should allow you to play in a few more types of settings without having to bring an external amp. 2. There is a new mobile app that allows you to control all of the parameters without having to press and hold multiple keys on the keyboard (e.g. velocity curve, effects, layers, etc.).
Thanks for the video - looks and sounds good. The piano sound should be featured in a variety of genres (classical, pop, rock, jazz, Latin, etc.) as most keyboard players would buy this as a piano. Figure 80% piano and 20% for Rhodes, organ, clavichord sounds.
I use my CT-S1 primarily as a MIDI keyboard controller but several of the built-in sounds are pretty good and nice to have as a backup. I love the key action - quick, quiet, responsive, and allows you to play with decent expression.
@@jamietopolski4019 My issue is that I already own a MIDI controller and don’t want to buy a portable keyboard that I have to connect to a computer anyways. But I´ve heard it has "semi-weighted keys"
That piano stand is really nifty. Do you sell those as well? Great playing by the way.
Finally finally Casio, at last!!!!!

@@MrPipol-nm3cdWhy do you have to connect it to a computer? 🤔
@@jenslempke7883 to use a more realistic piano sound.
