Two other important improvements: 1. The speakers are now 13 watts total (vs. 5 watts on the original CT-S1). This should allow you to play in a few more types of settings without having to bring an external amp. 2. There is a new mobile app that allows you to control all of the parameters without having to press and hold multiple keys on the keyboard (e.g. velocity curve, effects, layers, etc.).
I think it is a good option for travel and quick gigs ... not heavy ! but then gain if you want to drag a grand piano around that is an option portability and simply having a good time I thin it is great !
Thanks for the video - looks and sounds good. The piano sound should be featured in a variety of genres (classical, pop, rock, jazz, Latin, etc.) as most keyboard players would buy this as a piano. Figure 80% piano and 20% for Rhodes, organ, clavichord sounds.
Would they? There are plenty of keyboardists who are not into piano at all. That's why it features organs, synths, e-piano's and others on there. If you are pianist my guess would be you would buy a digital piano with 88 hammer action keys and not this keyboard at all. This one is geared far more to pop players who don't need much more than 61 keys to play all the genres they enjoy. If it were aimed at pianists it would have been marketed with an 88 key option.
Micro USB 😮..... Oh no 👎 I Hope Casio makes a mk2 with USB B and a 5pin DIN midi out for redundancy. I use VST and dont really care about the sound but I like the casio 76 keybed with red felt

That piano stand is really nifty. Do you sell those as well? Great playing by the way.
