I don’t like it. Do real police work with real people.

This is real police work. And if one of those recovered cars was mine I'd be very appreciative.
And it starts with license plates, not someone "looks suspicious".

@@kathryngeeslin9509 no doubt. I would be appreciative too. I’m just not for replacing jobs for people with machines. I’m also not for obscure policing of the people. For example, if you NEED a radar gun to determine if I’m speeding, then am I really a danger to anyone? Hell, without the radar you can’t tell. Why not put cameras in bathrooms to catch illegal activities. Or have landlords put cameras inside apartments to catch criminal activity? Where does it stop?
Simply put, the more intrusion we accept, the more overbearing the government will become.

@@Larry11181 The cameras in this report do not replace people, they aid people, they make possible what was previously impossible for people.
Cameras in public are not the same as cameras in private. Recognize the difference between public and private, for cameras and behavior. I also greatly appreciate the ready documentation of police brutality and dishonesty; taking video of the same people off duty at home whether embarrassing or at dinner with guests is another matter entirely.

Wealthy people commit crime as well but they don’t get cameras in their neighborhood. Racism / segregation at is best in Fort Worth.

166 arrests, 2 murder suspects. And is in a heavy crime populated area. No need to bring up race in this situation.
