A familiar sound lol It happens with my DT770s and Custom One Pros with the DT770 pads sometimes when they are firmly against my head. What I like to do is I just angle the pads a bit differently away from my glasses and the sound goes away. Like push the bottom of the ear cup towards your jaw and lift top of the cup away from head and release, or push front and lift back depending on size and shape of the glasses frame until the sound goes away, you want to get most of the pressure against the glasses frame off the frame and onto your head. I don't experience this with my DT990s cause the foam in the 990 pads is much softer and doesn't push as hard against the glasses frame. Can't remember if this is an issue with the pleather pads, l replaced them quickly with the velour pads on my COPs. Also you won't hear the sound if you're wearing like a baseball hat or beanie with the headphones.

A very thin layer of oil where the glasses touch the headphones will probably help.

i think it has to do with the material of the frames. mine are wire and don't make that noise but it looks like in the vid he's got plastic frames

I mean sure, it can be annoying if you're contorting your head around to accentuate the effect. But under normal conditions while wearing glasses and your head is relatively still then it is nowhere near as bad as this makes out.
However, I have had this with a different brand, but was still velour rubbing on glossy plastic arms. And I like to fix things so I ended up ordering a cheapo spare pair of specs online then used some rubber heat shrink tubing on the arms to alter the texture. The extra resistance negated the effect entirely.
(I'd also suggest tightly winding some wool around the headband so that the pleather doesn't disintegrate quickly - for those with less head hair) 👍

Well first of all thanks you for posting a solution.!!!
I have different headphone off this particular brand. I took this one as a example becuase a lot of people wear this specific model. I fully understand what you mean that my head would be relatively still, but even then i find it annoying. I use my headphones not only in the studio, but wen i walk or use my bicycle as wel.. I liek to wear different types for different days, but the one i mostly use on the go is the www.thomann.de/gb/beyerdynamic_amiron_wireless_copper.htm And it hase, ofcourse, the same problem.
I've got a solution from one of my channel subs. Buy the offbrand eurpads, for your beyerdynamics headphones. The are very soft, and they will wrap around your glasses. And rub them in with a little bit of WD40, and your broblems will all be away forever :) www.bax-shop.nl/koptelefoon-onderdeel/zomo-earpad-set-dt-880-990-pu-oorkussens-voor-beyerdynamic-koptelefoons And that helped a lot for me. Even the bass sounds better now the headphones fitts better.

Mine didn't have any noise for a while after using these, but now They make that noise with every movement. Not really sure why.
