Very true about FL being the place for finding golf club deals. I know folks who live in a retiree complex and drive around in a golf cart and every day they drive by homes that are being emptied out, everything is out by the curb and they find all kinds of things, golf clubs included, that will end up in a trash truck if no one picks them out of the pile. You inspired me so much, i managed get a set of taylormade burner plus irons, callaway x2 hot driver, adams tightlies 3 wood, Cleveland cg wedge, odessey dual force putter and taylormade bag all for 44$ at a pawnshop here in South Africa
If you stay consistent and continually check Goodwill's, pawns, and resale stores, you can find gems still. I'm in VT and barely find some deals but 4-6 good clubs per year if I stay on the grind. Stacked is consistent and has so many more store options. Great video as always.
I recently picked up a set of old clubs from a garage sale for $5, which included some persimmon woods, Surprisingly, it hit just about as far as my titleist TS2!

Don't over look Harrison shafts. They have an EBAY store and in the 1990's my Cobra 5 & 7 woods had their shafts...and so did my driver, Callaway War Bird, 9.5°...it had a 46 " X Shift graphite shaft. I only used it on couple of the courses that had a lot of hills. There was a 380 yard Par 4 that was a little down hill that I used to drive pretty regularly...as it really played to about 340 yards. If my back ever heals, I intend to change the Regular steel shafts to Harrison Senior Graphite shafts...they make a great shaft that doesn't clean your bank account out! Since I did repairs and replacing shafts at the Pro Shop, I am able to swap them out myself! It's not hard if you follow the steps that are even here on YT!

It is hard to tell how many peoples interests you have renewed in golf that have been away from the game. It is also hard to tell how many people you have gotten into the game by showing it doesnt have to cost a fortune. Golf channel should have you guys on. Love your channel.

My son just turned 16 and is starting to play golf. He is 6'8" and I've been trying to piece together him a set of clubs with the longer shafts. I found a set with 1" extensions, but they really aren't long enough and I am struggling to find him a putter. Let me know if you come across something that might fit him.

Persimmons are under rated. Most folks can't swing them so they get a bad rep. Similar to Hybrids

Bought a Wilson 8802 putter there back in 1999, still in my bag today, best putter I’ve ever had.
