Sir, you are a Master at this! I have been playing your game, NSMB Origins and I am loving it! It gave new life to my DS after beating original NSMB, which was the reason I purchased my DS along with Game back then. Congrats on all your time and effor on putting together this great hack! By the way, I am kind of stucked at W2-4 and W2-5... mainly the Mario Medallions.

Got it! I was only missing the 3rd star coin, I had the secret exit already. I think the difficulty level is right, it does make the gamer think about choices if you really want the star coins. I had actually gone to the left on 2 door by switch but I died 2 times and gave up. Thanks for the help, so far having a great time with your hack!

@@arm8636 No, v4.0 will have different modes. One of them is Easy and another is Master Mode Easy Mode will have less edited SMB3 remake levels. (See previous trailer abiut modes) Master Mode levels are pretty huge and hard. Star Coins are hidden well

@@arm8636 well to be honest you should play 3.0 (its an upgraded version of 2.5) The major update (nearly a new full game) is from v3.0 to 4.0 But 4.0 is not out yet... Only the demos :)) Try to beat both demos. The Master Mode demo is preet tough hehe I think I only post the videos on Gbatemp and when 4.0 is done a complete new thread with screens, vjdeos and a downloadlink

camaro75v8 #1 is at the place with the vine! (where you can clim up to the clouds - newar Star Coin#2 entrance) Once on the clouds, try to use the spring board and jump ON THE BRICKS! The top brick has another vine^^ #3 is a bit more complicate... In the very beginning, get a shell and dive into the water to throw it against the springboard block! Get the springboard to the entrance of the level and hit the switch! Enter the door! Now go to the water again (as in the previeous room) and swim to the left! (under the entrance to this section) Secret Exit: Hit the sitwch in the next room 2 as well (use the koopa to reach the switch) Enter the door (course 3 with all the blue koopas!) Do not get the shell! You need to be mini mario. go to the com,plete right and you reach the secret exit! I think I should lower some secret difficulties :P
Neato. Though, when you said that Lost Levels is much easier here, do you mean that you intentionally altered it to be easier? Or is it still a faithful one-to-one recreation and you're just talking about it being naturally inherently easier in New Super Mario Bros.? Because I am someone who actually quite likes the challenge of Lost Levels and would consider a deliberate attempt at making it easier to be a downgrade, but if it's just the natural result of being in NSMB then that's fine.
@@legoboy7107 it is almost (maybe 95%) a 1:1, but as you said, it is easier because of the NSMB controls. Walljumps, Ground-Pounds etc. But all Star Coins were also hidden, so it's quite a challenge too, to find those and beat the levels But when you want a REAL challenge, then you should focus in my other NSMB game (NSMB3) It has 2 modes, an EASY MODE and a MASTER MODE!! (not public yet, working on v4.0) I released an updated demo of the EASY MODE, but also added some of tbr hardest MASTER MODE levels into the package. Please check my latest Shorts, but some of them are a REAL pain in the a**, be warned :))

Is it possible to make a version of NSMB without switching displays after going through a pipe. This would be great in order to use only one display in fullscreen on your TV.
Update Freak Actually there is a REASON why I switch the screens!! Reason is that you can't use your SUB-ITEM when on the bottom screen^^ Some puzzles require the bottom screen for fixed size of Mario ;)

I was skeptical at first, wondering how the classic level designs would lend themselves to the new engine, but instead of a straight port, I found something that used the classic levels as merely the framework of something far grander. The original take on what are already classic levels is astonishingly well thought out, and the new levels you introduce are excellent. This is, by far, my favorite hack of anything EVER. This is not just a good hack. This is one of the best Mario games, period. Hats off to you. Oh, and good job using Ys music in the trailer. I hope it persuades other people to download this hack ASAP.

For the star coin number 2 in 1-2 its not possible in the 0.5 xD so i still didnt found it xD dont do a wt for this one thatt better to find secret by your self (even if you show some bonushroom already ) I never watch your NSMB3 wt even if some bonush room seam impossible to foud or to done it. realy good job men ;)
The 1.0 and V0.5 are different! I changed some STAR COINS (made the measier) The automatic movement thing should be fixed now! (but sometimes, maybe 1 of 20 tries, it fails xD)
