New Best Meteor Build - S4 Diablo 4

- Atleast it looks cool.
I decided to quickly put together a meteor build for fun. Cleared tier 120 on the first try, but I can probably clear higher with better gear optimization. After playing the build a bit more, Esu's Ferocity seems better than Shatter in general.

I was running this build with Incinerate and it was the most fun build so far. Of course I wasnt using shatter and wasnt invincible but this is what I was going for! Very nice mate
My favorite build besides the fractured winter glass build. This highlights the main problem with the Sorc tho. There’s just no way to ramp up DPS in a boss battle.

God, I just want meteor to be good next season. My only wish is to rain hellfire down on my enemies with extreme prejudice.

This build is a lot of what sorc should be: Lots of flashy effects, things die just by being in proximity, extremely satisfying to both watch and play. This build along with all end-game sorc builds are the counter to this when they rely solely on infinite flame shield to work. It's dumb being one shot all the time in pits without FS. That doesn't take away from this build, it's just a complaint of the class as a whole. I'll still probably try this knowing I won't get that 100% uptime on FS.

Hey question. I’m at roughly 56% CDR with a 6s Starfall. Do you feel the 6s is mandatory or can it work with 7-9s helms with more CDR? I’m close to the unending Flame Shield so this build is starting to come together I think.

Sorc is fun, my favourite class, the first class I've selected in season 0. Sadly, I've changed to be a barb main since, because sorc seriously suck damage wise. Blizzard really need to do something about it. A simple change on the shitty useless key passives would've made so much difference. An addition of another enchantment would've made it so much better.
Crazy the boss fight took almost 6 minutes
Druids in the same boat and its gonna be worse in s5
is the firewall/meteor build doable again ? it was my favorite when it actually did damage :)
i feel bad for sorc players (im one of them), barely doing pit 120 with perfect build when barb can do it faster with pretty bad build
My meteor doesn’t have the blue ring even its rank is 21. Also I tried fireball, incinerate and firewall, all above rank10, they still don’t have the blue fire. Is it a bug or blizzard changed the spell? 😭😭I love the blue fire n its gone.

Mekuna, you da only Sorc player left keeping the Sorc spirit alive. I'm being 100% serious. Pretty much EVER Sorc player is DOA or copying you.

@@Mekuna7 can't yet, i have to find and roll the right pieces, lord it's a pain, but i have 3 more pieces to go. gloves, boots and that annoying amulet.
Got a meteor build but need to improve my cooldown. Ill try the shatter aspect might be good
@@Chiefmuz I didnt play meteor a lot but I feel like esu's ferocity is better than shatter in general, the legendary aspect is defintely not good tho
What is the Enchantments skills?
How did you manage to make your hero have such high damage? Are your meteors larger in size than mine, and do they recharge much faster. Have you purchased items? I used a translator.
Ive had some good experience with andariels, meteor, stacking lucky hit chance and pyromancy attack speed. You wouldnt get infinite flamecshield like you have though

Just when I thought meteor couldn't do anything above 110, this guy comes and one shots a 120 without breaking a sweat. Levels.
It's because of the tempering of flame shield, etc.

@darkkeijp yea, but no one would get that high with flame shield up most of the time. It's like singing the surf song and no Gargamel to worry lol.

How do you.manage your mana and get meteor to recharge so fast?
Cooldown reduction on everything you can
wdym manage mana? he got 0 spells that spend it. Meteor recharge so fast because of huge CDR and Ice blade enchantment. u got a lot of ice blades from it, and every blade reduces ur cooldowns.
more blades -> more cdr -> more ability spam -> more blades.
This build doesn’t require mana if u change your helm to coronet helm. Need to push your cdr instead of mana recovery. Ice blades will help so much in this build makes the meteor goes unlimited. My meteor build have to mix up with fire bolt because the meteor’s dmg so mehhhh

Awesome, yet blizzard makes the best build for every class spamming a basic attack in one form or another

another sorc single target dps masterclass. man blizzard hates sorcs.
other than that the build does look fun. reminds me of the one northwar did on prt for s4 before the nerfs.

Unfortunately, all of your builds are impossible to casual reply, this immortal flame shield are actually a glitch and going to be nerfed soon.
So, I would like to know somes good strong build to play in Season 4, some possible to be copied and fun to play :)
strong build needs very good gear lol and it's not a glitch, we reported that since PTR and let it in S4 to decide to nerf it after.
literally does not make sense how your cooldowns are so fast... i am only 10% off on cdr and my meteor has a 5 second cooldown. that additional 10% would not make my cd 1 second like yours. whats the trick here?

@@Mekuna7 yeah i am spamming it like crazy, i have 56% cdr, all the same paragon/tempers and my meteor cd is 4-5 seconds, even spamming iceblades i can't get close to spamming it like that. and surely flameshield doesn't stay up without hectic refreshing it which we don't use on this build. your stats at the end say you have 66% cdr so that's the only difference I am seeing.
edit: i think its the starfall coronet. you must have the 6 seconds on the meteor refresh whereas I just noticed mine is 9.5. that has to be making the difference.

@@Mekuna7 since I have your attention as well - why is your meteors blue? or they have the blue ring around the fire? xD last question !
@@ancient1x431 Blue flames are hotter than red flames. When you go beyond 8 ranks (i.e., 9 or more), the animation turns blue to show that your flames are hotter, meaning stronger. Blizzard actually thought about this detail lol
