OH MY GOSH, HE DEFEATED AIR MAN! AND HE GOT BEHIND HIM AND AIR MAN DIDN'T KILL HIM AGAIN! HE SHOT AS FAST AS HE COULD, AND HE WASN'T HELPLESS AGAIN TO THE TORNADO! HE DOESN'T NEED TO TRY AGAIN, AND HE NEVER NEEDED TO HOLD ON TO HIS E-TANK AS LONG AS HE COULD!!
I've noticed that every time I play Around that same spot That I always die at the same place Never giving up, I challenge the disappearing footholds but soon fall below! If I had Item #2 I could easily reach the other side, but no matter what, however many times I try... I cannot defeat Airman! No matter how many times I try, I cannot avoid that tornado! I get behind him and fire repeatedly, but the wind hurls me back regardless. I tried to attempt the Time Barrage glitch too, but against the tornado it is meaningless! Thus, for the sake of absolute victory Next time I will only take the E-Tank at the very last moment
It just occurred to me, that I've been through this place again and again, And in the same spot every time I repeatedly die. I never will give up, as I attempt to cross the disappearing tiles on the wall, But again I'm falling off of them. If I only had the Item #2, it would make it so much easier to beat this level, But every time, somehow, every time, somehow, Every time I lose! I can't defeat Air Man, no matter how I try to dodge all his tornadoes, he just kills me again. And even though I can get behind him It's no use. I try to fight, but I get blown away in the end. I shoot as fast as I can, But when I had to go against Air Man's tornado I was helpless again! I'll try again, of course, but this is my plan, I'll keep my E tank saved in reserve just as long as I can!
Sorry, but you can actually dodge all of Air Man's patterns. The "undodgeable" one requires you to run and jump over the first tornado before the wind pushes you back to the wall. Tricky, but possible.
I did always find Airman Stage to be really easy but the boss was really hard lmao, especially since they didn't give us slide until MM3 Old Capcom had a tendency to do that, especially in some other megaman titles like Megaman + Bass Drill Man gives me nightmares to this day. The robot master himself is very difficult without his weakness ESPECIALLY with Bass as he will constantly jump in and out of walls + ceiling and its hard to put any kind of substantial damage on him so its a war of attrition without any upgrades. Except he has like 4-5x as many mistakes he's allowed to make compared to you.
It is a bit odd that some Robot Masters have really easy stages but really hard boss fights now that you mention it. I think Mega Man 2 has the worst case of easy-stage-hard-boss syndrome.

*"I can't defeat Airman!"*
Rolling Cutter: _"...hold my beer..."_
Never thought about not moving when he started jumping. Very nice.
I’ve never understood the “I can’t beat airman” people
Perfect Running is a lot harder.
@@hunam_1 yeah, I know, I’m just talking about people who play the game casually
Gotta say, If it took you 81 attempts to do it no-hit buster only, that guy who wrote the song must've really sucked at Air Man
