Great to see all the seedlings planted, I have magnificent tall field maple in the front garden that has shed more seeds this year than normal some I have planted up so hopefully I can make a forest out of them, that Linden tree is look really strong and powerful now it is a wonderful natural looking tree. Thanks for all your videos which I know are hard work creating.
A very cool forest. I’m excited to watch it grow in the future. My neighbor has a huge October Glory Maple that drops tons of seeds into my yard, so I’m lucky to be able to have hundreds of little seedlings pop up in my yard every year. I collected some this year and last year into a pot for a future forest as well!
I must admit my favourite tree by far is acer campestre. I've seen it grown as an impressive bonsai and I just like how it looks in nature also. I have one I'm growing and it suffered sunburn last year. It's in a shadier spot and already it's growth is looking a lot nicer. I'm hoping it puts on lots of vigour this year and gives me seeds :)
Wow. So for twenty people, he had to dig up 200 seedlings... I wonder how long that took. My backyard has been inundated with golden rain seedlings (some even sprouted in the pool water) for me to play with. I've got a lot of digging to do. Lol
Decomposed bark is the best to use, I should start a pile of the Fir bark and get it decomposing before I use it! I don't think the type of bark is important? I not even sure the bark does a whole lot for the trees, but it doesn't hurt either!
It’s always exciting to see you get another forest on the go. Thanks, keep growing
I've learned so much from you Nigel, can't say thanks enough
Inspiring a whole new generation!

16:10 Small leaf linden is looking fantastic
What is that you've been saying about having too many trees? ;)
Was it that he had more space on the floor of his greenhouse for a few more seedlings?
I'll be combining them all into one pot some day, so technically my number of pots hasn't gone up, lol!!
Fieldmaples are great!👍

Willows seem to be the thug in my garden. My neighbour at the bottom of the row has a big one and they grow like crazy in my garden
Once you've determined which bonsai to place in the show, please make a video describing them for us.
Nigel i have a question.Does the reptile bark work as good as pine bark? Awsome maple i have one field maple i been growing for 10 years or more.
Isn't his reptile bark pine bark?

Where are you finding those green seed trays? They would come in Handy
These were from a grow store called the "Indoor Farmer"
Those are boot strap farmer trays I believe
👍
