- 本集主要内容： 唐僧被孔雀公主掠入了孔雀台中。公主愿与唐僧结百年之好，唐僧不为所动，却劝公主珍惜千年修行之身。公主恼怒，将唐僧迷倒，欲强行成婚。却被大鹏一起捉入了狮驼岭。悟空打败了青狮、白象，驱赶着他们去狮驼岭寻大鹏讨要师父。悟空为救师父，几番苦斗，还是胜不了大鹏。恼怒之际，去西天找如来讲理，如来亲自将大鹏收走。
【节目简介】
《西游记》中国古典四大名著之一，明代小说家吴承恩所著中国古代第一部浪漫主义长篇神魔小说。主要描写孙悟空、猪八戒、沙僧三人保护唐僧西行取经，沿途遇到八十一难，一路降妖伏魔，化险为夷，最后到达西天、取得真经的故事。

The Great Roc Demon would become the 4 pilgrims’ unexpected ally later when they reached Journey to Western Paradise. The Tang Priest and his disciples don’t know they were given the Wordless Scriptures by the Buddha’s assistants but the Buddha knew everything so he sent the Roc to “attack”them but in actual fact to reveal to them. The Roc tossed the blank books and revealed that he was sent by the Buddha to inform them to return get the True Scriptures.

Golden Winged Great Peng is the most powerful opponent Wukong has faced on the journey, being able to defeat Wukong in battle using his own skills rather than a mystical object to help him get the advantage, as well as being able to fly faster than wukong when he is reverted back to his true form
That explains why was he able to overpower the entire group when he attacked them again after they reached the Western Paradise but got the blank scriptures. The Roc became their ally later when he helped to reveal the deception by the 2 Buddha’s assistant and that he was sent by the Buddha to reveal the whole thing and told them to return to get the true scriptures.
