An scp series where each episode focus on one scp, an anthology series like love death + robots. That would be an awesome show
Yeah, then there would be more episodes than One Piece! dude, there is more than 9000 SCPs!
Agreed
We just have to select a few. We don’t have to cover them all
My opinioni? Yeah, i like It!
Well said and time for the right script and director's willing to take some risks! CGI mania!!!! Many story line possibilities with individual SCP's.
Netflix is literally one of the only companies who would do an SCP series badly
True
Fr
@@christoferrodriguez7672 Fr tho Warner, Universal, Sony and Paramount could do something better
Agreed. If a big movie company. Hope they listen to the SCP community and use the wiki and watch what SCPs stand for! Security. Contain. Protect. Special Containment Procedures
@@geometryd those movie companies will make it pro and great story and good ending of scp universe just like other amazing movies like 2012, Avatar , I am legend and war world z
You had my hopes up there for a second.
If it ever happens, it should be an anthology series. Each season could see recurring characters and maybe even some recurring scps, but mostly it be stand alone situations. Over time patterns could emerge but we should never get too familiar with anything, for it's the unknown that makes it so fascinating.
I better like the idea of fresh characters each season with subtle implications to the last cast. You could have something like a memorial that gets added, and past characters could speak to new members through it.
they sadly could never have a commercially licensed scp series because it would be legal to pirate it. (Creative commons law allows people to remix, create, and copy things under it. And scp is under that license.)
Imagine scrolling through Netflix and actually seeing an SCP movie that fits ALMOST PERFECTLY with it's lore. I would really like to watch that
The problem with SCP is there is no canon. Everything is permitted, nothing is denied. All of it is and is not canon. Even and especially the parts that contradict themselves and other parts. As with the written SCP literary universe, normal people are not ready for this sort of a narrative construct. The every idea of an SCP series is a cognitohazard.
Yes.
And the concept has been unleashed into the collective consciousness.
Fools.
Yea but it looked like their were portals of sort to who nows were so like the multivers of foundations work together.
Just imagine how huge an scp movie could be if a big company took it and *does it right.*
I'm honestly suprised it hasn't happened yet, all the lore and amazing stuff is already laid out for them and it's mostly all copyright free.

If done right this could be one of the greatest horror franchises ever. Just imagine they start with a show and let's say 12 episodes in one season. Each episode focusing on one anomaly of one site. Starting with let's say Euclid classes, then featuring some Keter and so on. And in the movies they could show how they interact with each other or a containment breach. I would pay some good money to watch it.
Yeah and the last episode of season 1 would introduce the Chaos Insurgency

HBO would make SCP a darker mystery horror Sci Fi series while Amazon is almost a Sci Fi Comedy like men in black
With the sheer amount of content within the SCP Foundation lore anyone that were to pick it up and make a movie or tv series would have unending possibilities and storylines to use. It's such a rich lore that with so much potential that it's disappointing that no one has actually picked it up for movies/tv.
God I wish this was real. It could be an anthology series about various encounters with the Foundation and the SCPs. A brilliant way to introduce the SCP universe to a broader audience.

A TV series about the foundation would be an amazing and scary masterpiece
I think the SCP Foundation series would be more suited to being a mystery horror, but it could also have comedic characters given the less dangerous and even harmless objects such as scp 999 and scp 131 and the new workers who do not yet understand what awaits them or , on the contrary, they will not be against it

As an SCP file author myself, i could definitely see some improvements, back in 2018, i think there was just a total of 1500 i think. But now, dang it's almost doubled. The best thing about the SCP community is they are so welcoming, as long as you have a skill in writing and a vast knowledge of previous SCP's. I think in 2033, this might get an anime/animation/tv adaptation.
The last part gave me some real chills like it was the best part out of this trailer
Man the only thing that was close to an scp movie was “a cabin in the woods” it would really be amazing if an scp series were to start on Netflix. I would watch it no matter what
Imagine something like the Clone Wars. A sort of anthology series with disconnected arcs but still with an overarching story. SCP: Breach seems a bit on the nose, and I think a much more fitting title would simply be "The Foundation." You could have stories relating to specific researchers looking into things they shouldn't be, MTF teams containing an SCP out in the open, or maybe a day in the perspective of a D-Class. Maybe you can even follow the story of a certain humanoid SCP that you can sympathize with, having them dealing with containment and feeling like a labrat, or even a monster. There are so many possibilities with this. There is just absolutely so much untapped potential that could come from an SCP Foundation-based series. The scariest part is just making sure it has good writers, a director, and a composer. If they don't stay true to the SCP spirit, and they were to mess it up, that could honestly seal live action SCP's fate for good.
You mean like the star wars clone wars?
Hopefully dr bright is the main character he seems like the type that would have main character energy usually
If you want that style of a sympathetic scp then watch lord bungs confinement series
The last idea about one you can sympathize with reminds me of SCP-5031
Imagine that for each episode they switch it, like one is MTF, another is about researchers experience, the next is about the Class D’s, and another is following an SCP during a breach
I think scp deserves to be recognized by bigger companies, aswell as the backrooms. The lore is great, and everyone knows about them both. That would equal views upon views.

Dr. Bright would be the obnoxious character trope but he has plot armor
I would literally pay for a big company or production house to make a SCP movie and take small players like Evan Royalty and some others. It would make a hell of a movie.
Bro Evan Royalty needs a BIG company to back him up so he can make more than short films. He has a talent for movie making, his story lines are great. best of all, He makes up his own SCP rather than using existing ones. Since anything can be an SCP as long as it is supernatural in some way shape or form.
We need big companies to invest in smaller creators, that way they can make a lot of money, while the creators give out something the public will love instead of a thing that we will regret spending money on.
Like markipliers
"A heist with mark" or "In space with mark" good story telling, and very successful. no one paid for it, but everyone would've loved it even after paying for it.
Companies need to take risks, vs going for the absolute success, Because like Obi Wan Kenobi said once "Only sith deal in the absolute"
@@theasiangod5860 yes that is also a good idea i think he had to cancel his new movie due to money problem or something like that if he's backed up by some big production house it's gonna get millions in profit cuz of the rapid increase of number of SCP fans.
Sadly due to copyright stuff we'll probably never get a SCP series/movie made. But it would be so awesome if we could get one! I'd like the idea of some movies/episodes being connected together within a bigger universe but also have spin off projects that don't connect to really anything. Kind of like what DC does.
The SCP forum is an open-source platform. There is no copyright involved, it's all free to use. You think any of the people who made the many games for it asked for permission?
@@devoutrelic1228 I think the main problem is you can't make money of it tho which is the main reason you'd make a big budget series/movie. There is quite a lot of little copyright stuff that make it complicated
Some company's could.
@@jacks559 Almost, you can make money off of things with creative commons copyright. The main problem is that creative commons mean that everything created with SCPs are automatically added into creative commons as well, which means *ANYONE* can just take your work and resell it without any way to punish them legally, which is why companies are so scared of SCP.
*Creative commons has entered the chat*
The blade runner speech at the start really goes well with the trailer. Nice Choice!
SCP Horror TV Series Would be amazing
If there's gonna be an SCP series, they should make it in numeric order. Starting from "SCP-002" to "SCP-5000"
Or what about 001 where a conspiracy is secretly started against the foundation to find out which 001 is the real 001, and then it ends with the head of the conspiracy just opening it up and then getting terminated by the memetics kill agent, then we get an intro to the series after that

I feel like Scp would either need to be really dramatic with some humor or incredibly humorous but still drama involved. A whole show devoted to just catching Scps, a whole show devoted to just the science team and a whole show devoted to d class personal
The show is just all the things Doctor bright isn't allowed to do 😂😂
If it was a show the best way to do it would be like a new junior researcher being the mc and SCPs being introduced through them and their interactions with SCPs and other famous characters. Maybe a more horror based side with a new MTF recruit or D-class who somehow continues to get lucky and survives whatever they get put in.
And then one episode where Jack Bright steals the limelight and goes to do something to add to the ever growing list of things he can’t do. Maybe at the end it shows how immortality has changed him and shows a much darker and sadder sad.
Is there anyway to get a cast/crew together to make it possible to get this to tv screens?

Sorry to break it to you but it'll never happen. Most of the SCPs are community made, meaning a big company cant just ask the owner of the website. It has to also ask the people who wrote the SCP. I always wanted a SCP movie or TV show I want to see a movie or TV show about the SCP Foundation
Came from tiktok for this, we need this to become a reality

It would be better as a series of episodes where the SCP foundation reacted to the events.. Maybe starting with reading the SCP report to the O5 council and then moving into the actual event from first hand eyes on accounts.. This would stay true to the report system and create a cinematic experience..
On the side there could be a series of web based episodes with updates of each SCP.. Votes, new containment procedures, and such.. It would add to the lore and maybe add consistency.. I know being inconsistent is part of the lore..
SCP would be an amazing anthology. imagine guest directors lining up to participate!
me and the boys in suits
going to my house to see this on netflix 🗿
This is a very interesting concept, imagine a movie about the scp foundation where instead of focusing on one scp, we're focusing on the damage and subsequent actions taken when several containment breaches happen, and with an added trouble of a new anomaly on the rise. We also see several MTFs trying to tackle their own troubles to contain a Skip as well. Civilians finding out about anomalies and the foundation. The foundation's inner troubles from rouge agents and doctor dan type stuff. All of that's happening at the same time so it would be far more engaging. But it would require a lot of thinking from the writers and directors to think of a good way to pace the movie/show, casts and production team, not mentioning CGI, costumes, equipments and costs.
Yes. I can't wait to watch and talk through every episode explaining to my family what each SCP is.

Glad this is a fan edit. Wouldn't want Netflix touching anything SCP related with a fifty foot pole.
An SCP TV show is a great IDEA, but there's a reason why it hasn't been done.
Everything within the SCP universe is public domain, making merchandising/monetizing a potential franchise range from extremely tedious to impossible.
Companies like Netflix prefer to own their intellectual property to better compete with other streaming services.
Truth is, it's the first bit that's the biggest hang up. TV shows make the bulk of their money off merc. If you can't sell merc. You got nothing.
@@meoff7602 | Yeah, merchandising is huge. Only way you could make it work is if they kept the rights to their specific renditions of the SCP characters, and that sounds like a legal minefield.
I always thought an scp show should be done like an anthology, kinda like black mirror or what if, and can have stories based of popular scps
exactly
I loved the little segments of that one short film ‘Irradiated’ placed around the trailer. Glad to see more recognition for such an amazing piece of art.
I’m picturing a love death + robots esc show based on a single scp, it would start with maybe A narration of a dr detailing the actual scp document, then the episode,
Netflix if you ever do this please hire the Volgun, he by far has the most impressive vocal range and would be perfect for 049
I'ma thinking of pitching a SCP show to Netflix and Hulu seeing who would do it
SCP 49 basically doesn't need CGI, it could be just an Actor in a suit and makeup
Nicely cut & reassembled.
I honestly think that it could work. If they make it an anthology series similar to how they did love death and robots
If this was a show I would binge watch the whole show
We need a show where the main characters are part of the chaos insurgency and they just do crazy stuff like get into fights in the facility
Imagine if this was Official
I don't want to see that kind of adaptation Netflix would do for the SCP Foundation
Most of these scenes are from various shorts that, in some cases, are several years old. I've seen most of them.
The SCP universe would really benifit from a black mirror style show with each ep being a new anomaly
I'm an SCP fan and would love to see this. Seeing as it's film and not just animation, the inclusion of 096 is worrisome. That wouldn't make it a show about a containment breach, it would itself be a containment breach. Don't forget to put on your scramble goggles before viewing.
Have they been upgraded to work? Last I checked they weren't foolproof.

This would be so dope. It'd be cool if every episode was focused on a different scp but still have the stories be connected somehow like if they had one about 096 going on a rampage then the next would be 049 "curing" it's victims
This would be such a good series if a big company would make it come true
I can imagine every episode following a different story and scp and in the end its when day breaks as a season climax
YO, FOR A MINUTE I THOUGHT THIS WAS LEGIT.
BLOODY AMAZING.
Holy crap the amount of great antagonists that could appear. Random keter-classes? The GOC? The sarkists or church of the broken god?
For an SCP series with the budget of a Netflix series to ever come out I would love for it NOT to focus on Containment Breach or single SCP episodes
I would love for it to focus on the Foundation as a whole and into why an organization like this even manages to function in containing the entities, in the exploration of finding and containing a new Anomaly.
At least one of The BIG end of world anomalies
And the perspective of civilians and newcomers to the foundation, to help people grasp the idea, because the whole foundation tends to have the demeanor towards the outsider that "you barely have any idea of the world we live in"
Maybe from the viewpoint of somebody who's just started working there.
Can't wait for scp-096 to show up 😊✌️
I want this as a Netflix series
I wish we could get an SCP Series but with all the copyright issues involved it's damn near impossible for any company to put the effort and money into doing such a massive undertaking.
A real scp series in a good damn horror fashion would be amazing.
I love when people dont add concept trailer and make you hyped while also click baiting you at the same time …. 👍
If anyone was looking of some really well made SCP web series I suggest Redacted by Lot1, Scp: Overload and Scp: Dollhouse by Evan Royalty and SCP: End of Civilization by Don Gendoz
If Netflix, HBO, Fox or other popular companies like these 3 actually did make a series with (either) perfect (or just great) visuals, effects, storyline/lore and action, I'd totally watch all seasons of it, since there are different universes for different possibilities
if this was real it would be SO Cool!!
The SCP Foundation is kinda like stranger things except there's way more monsters/bad guys, they're way more terrifying and stronger, and there's little to no good guys to protect you, even if there is, they're most likely very weak.
Like there's an SCP for anything, and they're all mostly messed up.
When I was on Netflix the other day I never saw this trailer, but it would be cool if there was an actual SCP containment beach movie
As much as I like the idea of a SCP foundation movie it'd be so hard to do because of the legal problems of using a community built universe, like the whole 173 issue using a artist's sculpture without his permission
To be fair even the community cant agree with lore and stuff just call it anothe reality and we are good.
What about the Slenderman movies tho
"how boutta 10k dollars"
"ok yep its yours"
The SCP wiki in general operates on creative commons sharealike licensing. Almost everything there is basically free for commercialization. The old picture of SCP-173 is the only exception since it's the oldest SCP, and it was originally a 4chan post written before the SCP Wiki's inception.
I wondered how long it would take to get a major release (relatively) “SCP” universe movie. Not bad…a great universe to build on and in!
I got insanely hyped when I saw Netflix in the title 😭
A good idea would to have episodes for every SCP, so it would be a long series but it would probably be impossible.
I know that scp foundation and everything about it is really serious and dark, but i hope they'll include also its absurdity and hilarious specimens and other doctors (like: Dr. Bright, Cr. Cleft, Dr. Kondraki)
I've read people say before that nobody would ever make it into a series because it's a community collab and there's no truly cohesive narrative to glue every SCP together. And they would probably end up ruining it.
I'm fine with Dr. Bob, SCP Explained, and the Rubber.
Scp series have so much potential to be a great cinematic universe, so many scripts (canon) or even a tv series about scp files I wishes to watch on screen
I reckon it’d be amazing if there was a Netflix series which did utilise a similar setup to Love, Death and Robots in the sense of an anthology of different stories from different creators all centred around a central idea, exploring the different stories with the different styles. Now that would be a hit series
