Wow, thanks for that eye-opening video! Truly, I admire your courage for delving alone into the heart of Belén. Reflecting on my trip to Iquitos with two friends, we embarked on the intriguing 'Venecia Loretana' tour. The atmosphere was thick with mysticism as our guide led us to that hidden corner where shamans craft their enigmatic potions for love ties and divination. It was a mix of awe and adrenaline! But caution is key: as dusk approached, with the sun casting its final glow over the river, we witnessed a tense moment: two tourists, left vulnerable without a guide, had their camera snatched in the blink of an eye. The heartbeat of Belén is strong, showing you a raw and authentic side of Iquitos. But a heartfelt piece of advice: if you choose to venture, ensure you do so with an organized tour. Both the safety and magic of the experience are worth their weight in gold!"
Cool man, I went to the Phillipines in 2016 for my honeymoon from Australia and I am off to Iquitos in 4weeks for a 3week experience and a 10day Ayahausca Retreat a few hours down river. I honestly just said to my wife, wow this place looks like the Philippines and she agreed. I can’t wait ❤
"I almost forgot, for those looking to venture there, several agencies offer the tour to Belén. After researching many, I ended up choosing one called Yakumama Tours, which is among the best in the area. Importantly, always carry small bills if you plan on buying anything, as electronic payments are virtually non-existent there."
@@sealontourBro I am game to go whenever, my treat. Will pay for us and our ladies. Would be awesome. I am serious. Let me know when. My Mrs might not be game to eat funny foods but f it I will for the experience. Just in the UK till the 4th of next month for my business this side after that anytime. 🫡👌🤟
Nice video, I actually did get super sick in Peru from under cooked chicken. I was sick for a month and down to 125 pounds but after that I could eat anything lol.
In fact, this place is very similar to the Philippines or Cambodia, always go with a safety guide, it is not a safe place, my guide for this area was very pro and we even made some ayahuasca, it is incredible that the supplies for ayuahasca are very cheap and the tours charge you very expensive.
@@sealontour hey seal just a heads up, I travel as well, I just had to cancel my Egypt tour because of this new omnicron, this one really kicked me in the butt, make sure you have a plan for getting it and the down time to recover. If it wasn’t for the vitamin regiment and all the Antibiotics ( Azithromycin and amoxicillin) that I purchased in Ukraine and Lima last year I would have been down longer. Stay safe bro.
