The best cartoon I saw of the real ghostbusters was when the cartoon ghostbusters went to see the live action ghostbusters movie. After a couple minutes, Venkman says "That guy looks nothing like me!" Perfect! :)

Despite some problems they gave their blessing/approval to the cartoon/anime. Nice to know cause i was constantly waiting for each episode back then.

the differences between the movie and the cartoon confused the hell out of me as a kid and bothered me to some extent but I was still a fan of the show

Back when writing a script fora show even a cartoon was technical and had some logic and thought behind it. Now days it's especially for some political show's it's like, so what was your thought process behind the script? O we just through something together over the weekend, you know the story doesn't matter as long as we preach to the viewers.

It's really hard to find something that you can enjoy if you know enough about the background. Picasso and Leonardo were monsters too in their own ways, yet most people still adore the good stuff they've made :D It's not like Rolf Harris is the epitomy of evil. He made terrible things but he also did good things, which we can watch with good coscience :)

They made Ray the chubby one and also made Ray a redhead for some reason even though he's a brunette in the movie.
They wanted to differentiate between the characters in the animation so people could tell them apart. Which is why they all got different color hair, body types and uniforms.
