September 11, 2001 Raw News Footage - Dallas Texas Tape 9

As the events of Sept 11th played out, I started my VCR and just recorded as I flipped through channels going through at least a dozen tapes. As the 20 year anniversary arrives in 2021 I decided to digitize it and put it out into the world.

I like it when those girls reunite with someone in this video in the beginning but sadly lots of people never made it out on 9/11/01 of the World Trade Center and I am From New Jersey thank god didn’t know people in my family who worked their or was flying on a plane that day but I have indeed family members who have lost a Friend and Friends of ours who lost a Mutual Friends.

It is HILARIOUS that Tom Brokaw refers to fiction novelist Tom Clancy as a "real authority on American security." First off, no he isn't. It is VERY inappropriate to have a clown like Clancy on at a time like this! Second, you listen to the banal commentary from him and you can see how little he understood about our enemies abroad and what they were capable of. The average NPR listener both knew more and would have made for a more compelling guest.
