So I made this last night, I used a leek instead of an onion, I didn't use chicken and I also added basil and instead of using feta I added and Italian blend of of cheeses at the end and it was amazing!! I love watching you, please keep cooking and coming up with more recipes! xoxo
Just got the Ninja after using the Instant Pot for a year (never cooked before.. been just a BBQ guy). Making this recipe tonight. Lots of really good videos (bright people with get-to-the-point presentations) for IPot recipes, but you're the first one with Ninja that I've seen that's terrific to watch.. not goofy, or trying to be funny, or have their 'cute' kids or husband interrupting with 'clever' comments. You're great, and thank you also for putting the recipe in so it can be printed. Look forward to all your future videos.
AAed harris WOW! Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments! I appreciate them so much. We are working extremely hard to put out great, informative and easy to follow videos and it’s so nice to be appreciated for that! If there is ever a recipe you want me develop for the Foodi, just let me know and I’ll do my best! 😁
The recipe looks really good. I did your spaghetti recipe for co workers and the loved it and they have requested for me to prepare lunch for them on Fridays lol and they have asked if I could prepare a chicken dish and after watching this video I think this is what I will try next. Thank you for posting it
Last week I prepared the spaghetti for coworkers. Today I fixed this recipe it was really good and everyone loved it. They asked me where I’m getting the recipes and I tell them about your RUclips channel.
I'm so thrilled you (and your co-workers) are enjoying the recipes! Thanks for spreading the word! I also have a website with Ninja Foodi and a bunch of other recipes: thesaltedpepper.com
R T I thought about it, but was worried that the cream cheese would lower the sauce temp and then not cook the spinach. It worked perfectly this way, but if you make it and add the cream cheese after cooking, I’d love to hear how it turns out for you! 😁
Is it ok to add freshly roasted turkey ( needed freezer space) at the end with the spinach in place of the fresh chicken? I roasted the turkey today, plus homemade bread, because I have 30# of sausage and chops from a local butcher and needed the freezer space, as well as a 5gal bucket of fresh bones with a ton of meat attached to it! I’m almost out of poultry bone broth... Great video Louise, as usual😘👩🍳. You need a food show on Food Network. NOT KIDDING, GIRL. love ya to pieces! Jo
You are too kind, Jo! Yes, you can add roasted turkey at the end with the spinach, it would be great! WOW! That's a lot of bones, guess you'll be making some bone broth! Have you used the Foodi to do that? I love pressure cooking my bone broth, it's done in no time at all.
I have used the Foodie for bone broth, but probably use my 10.5 qt canner for this much, lol. It’s ok, because I’m almost out of turkey bone broth. I might throw in the mixes mushrooms before I have to dehydrate them. The shrooms really add great flavor.
Love these premieres so much. Thank you for all of your hard work that you put into doing them for us. They are sure appreciated from me.
Thanks, Pam!

Mary Sutliff I can’t wait to hear how you like it!
you should add the cream cheese after pressure cooking. the heat of the sauce will melt it perfect and it's not cooked. ;)

Could you substitute the chicken breast with chicken tenderloins?
absolutely! I would just cut them in half or thirds, so you have bite size pieces of chicken.
When you add in the tomatoes do you also include the liquid or just the tomatoes.
I used the liquid as well. There isn't a whole lot in the fire roasted tomatoes, maybe 1/2 cup between the two cans.
You're practically perfect Lou, just not that perfect LOL :D :p
Perfect is boring! 🤣🤣 I was just thinking about you the other day, I hadn’t seen a comment from you pop up in awhile. Good to hear from you!
@@TheSaltedPepper Awwww thank you for thinking about me Lou
Can you half this recipe? Does it freeze well?
Yes, you can cut it in half. Same cook time. I have frozen it and reheated without any issues.
😀
Waiting with bated breath...
Hi Jo!
