He is a very good footballer but he is more like Lampard (a box to box, good athlete) instead of Zidane (who he gets compared to loads). But I like him because he has that dawg in him. Bellingham will take the game by the scruff of the neck even when things aren’t going well. Certain players only perform when the rest of the team is performing, this guy actually inspires and carries the team. Now he’s getting criticism from the English media which is not uncommon for someone who looks like him. I really wish him all the best
Lampard is a perfect comparison. A true box to box midfielder that is so good at scoring goals that the whole offense facilitates exactly that. If Lampard played today, he’d probably also be put in that 10 spot just to maximize his goal scoring chances

There are many top players today who probably wouldn't have even been playing football if their parents didn't push/force them into it. It kinda reinforces the idea that you have to start playing at a high level since like age 6 or younger to stand a chance of making it as a pro.

Bellingham scored an overhead kick goal against Slovakia a nation ranked 45th while England are ranked 5th(clearly it should have been a walk in the park for England)..Bellingham as well as England had a disappointing Euro campaign failing to dominate every single game they played.
