Did the acurity shifter cable bushing and base bushing. I felt 4th was to far away from me. Close call with a money shift twice. Ive since turned rev match back on hoping it would lock me out if it happened again. The shifter cable bushing fixed that. Id recommend the acurity gas pedal spacer aswell. Made a world of difference in drivability with pulling the gas pedal out farther and closer to the brake pedal.
Did you ever get a grind or lock out in second gear before doing the delay valve delay? I have a 2024 and I’ve gotten a few myself. Just ordered a modified slave.
Does the FL5 car rev hang like the SI does? The only reason why I want to tune my car is to get rid of the artificial rev hang. When the time comes a different flywheel will also help a bit but bone stock it's pretty noticeable.
Did you verify that tranny oil against the Honda MTF (5W-20 and 5W-30)? Seems to me that AC Delco fluid is far too heavy at 75W-80. I use Amsoil synthetic transmission fluid; it's rated 5W-30.
Honda MTF is still 75w-80 in gear oil which is equivalent to 20 or 30 weight engine oil. They are the same viscosity. Gear/transmission oil is measured differently from engine oil. The difference is in the additives.
This is some genuine obsession and passion! Love it
It definitely is 😅 thanks!
Thank you for providing links to purchase! I can't wait to try these mods.
Youll love them!
Great video and insight. I definitely need these mods shifting into 2nd is kill me with that stupid clutch delay valve.
Amazing simple mods that seems to make a huge difference. Love it.
It really is!

Yes I want to get the gas pedal relocation for heel toe downshifts!
Thank you! Totally needed this video for the clutch slave hose install. Did you do the bleed solo?
Yes get the allstar bleeder bottle on amazon
Damn I was thinking bout track days but $500 is tickets to annual vacation to keep me sane & free lol
I said the same until I did my first track day lol
Great work man! 👏👍😎
Thanks! 👍
Great video bro, I saw you have a quickjack 👀 did you use an extension for it by any chance for your fl5?
No extensions

Yes a couple times

It has rev hang built into the tune for shifting and rev match purposes. Type R has a single mass flywheel

Is there any way to get a meatier or more solid feel to the clutch pedal? I find it a little too light...
A different pressure plate
@@BuyYourBuild Many thanks.
any significant feels on the SS braided clutch?
No! I had spoon clutch line. It won’t do anything
What’s the link for the detent springs

My brother please take off the sticker from that wireless charger phone holder, I’m losing sleep at night 😭

For the price they should have already had these upgrades in the motor. This is why I'm reluctant to get a new type r.
You will never get one. This is the last one with a manual.
