Congrats!!! My brother was in a similar situation last year and chose Yale over Columbia, Harvard and Princeton for mechanical engineering. Did you chose your college yet? Congrats again 👏
Since all of these schools have similar academic and networking opportunities, the main deciding factor for him was the environment he wants to be surrounded by during the next 4 years of his life. We're from the UK, so my brother is an international student and therefore couldn't visit any campus beforehand. But, we asked friends and others who attended these schools and got the most positive feedback on Yale's and Harvard's communities. Most people said that the overly competitive environment (especially due to the grade deflation which causes people to go above and beyond to get an edge over others) at Princeton may not be for everybody. And since we heard that the incredibly busy city of new york sometimes prevented people from connecting with others and caused a lack of school spirit, it ultimately came down to Harvard and Yale. He chose Yale because he is a person that thrives the most with open and collaborative people around him. Harvard also embodied a similar attitude, but not as much as Yale, so he chose Yale and now he is happier than ever!! Hope this helps! @@05chrs
