Do you think that little T support on the back would make a strong base to lift the bike from underneath the skid plate with a lift stand? Great video btw, thank you!
I likely wouldn't trust it.. I lift mine from under the shock linkage if I'm doing rear tire swaps on the lift. If I need to get the shock off the skid plate is off so I'm usually lifting it under the rear pegs
How much does the AXP skid plate weigh> Moose sells it in USA. Like the guard for the water pump. Have seen the back tail for the shock mount pivot broken off. May need a piece of aluminum strap placed inside down middle. Highly considering it for mine
I got the same plate for my Tenere 700. I'm yet to install it because waiting on the crash bars to arrive. Question: Did you have to do any modifications on the skid plate in order to fit along with the crash bars? Thank you!
I have a Camel ADV lowered Camel toe side stand with the beefy return spring so I had to notch the corner of the skidplate to clear the bigger spring on the back left corner.
Thanks for posting this video ! :)
Same here, same reasons.

@@traineeadv thanks for the response. I wouldn't trust it either, but I really like the perks of this AXP one.
@@spencerAce I suppose the T isn't so much the issue as it is the #10or#12 bolt holding the weight

It's 2.4kg /5.2lbs so it adds a few #'s
I've seen a few failures, hopefully I'll fair better how and where I ride 🤞

Did you make your racks? I'm looking for something more affordable that the Adventure Spec ones for my Kriega OS 18s
No sir www.dirtracks.com
Do you know where the two small supplied washers go? I just installed mine but didn’t see where they go?
Sorry I skipped that explanation, I used them on the long bolt through the rear shock mount
