I have experienced this with my grandmother. I lost her three years before she died. She was still physically around, but she wasn’t the same person anymore. It was devastating for my mother as her mother didn’t even know who she was anymore.
God bless ya Bruce! I was just diagnosed fall of 2022 with FTD inherited from my mom's side of the family. Mom is 87 and first noticed changes at 70 with her thought processing, her brother is 92 and was just diagnosed, and I am 65. Their granddad lived until 99 with the disease. I am now taking 10mg dose of donepril (Aricept) every night. Also, I take 60 mg of Gingko Biloba every morning. It has been a tremendous boost. Let's keep going as long as we can!
My mama had a touch of dementia about 15 years ago and the doctor told her to do b12 injections (which she lacked) and that pretty much did it. No problems since then.
Our hero forever. Bruce Willis has always been a father we all wish we had. The world is better because he showed what it meant to be a man/father/husband and hero. Thanks Bruce for being the man we all wish we could have seen in our lives. ❤️ Prayers to his family and children.
The heifer is seeking publicity, press and attention. Bruce Willis is rich enough to afford maid and nurses. He has a wife. He does not need a washed up old actress nursing him.
I met Bruce back in early 2000. I didn’t even know who he was, but he was fishing in an area and the storm came on. He came into our little village and I saw him sitting looking pale and I went and asked him if he needed a drink so I got him water and coffee. After I walked away, someone told me it was Bruce Willis. Very nice man and very polite
Me too, he is a really nice guy. I was in the market looking for a specific chocolate for my mom for her birthday when I noticed a person had picked the last one and was going away with it. Freaking Bruce. I was shocked, but pretended I didn't knew him so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable. He asked me why I needed it and I explained everything, and as soon as I mentioned my mom, he instantly gave me the chocolate and said: "Ah yes, family is for life. I'm grateful for what he said because I was going through a lot during those times.

At least he is blessed by a loving family and still-loving ex-wife. God bless all of them.
@user-sn7pn1me8lYou don’t have to be 60 or 70 to develop dementia. I mean, it commonly effects those over 65+ but Dementia has been on the rise for young adults as well. One of my youngest dementia patients was a 40 year old male and in his case, alcohol played a contributing factor. He didn’t last 2 years.
@Joe Mama I know exactly! I just turned 36 myself and now that I’m that age, I’ve realized that once you get to a certain age you don’t wanna have anymore birthdays and you don’t wanna get any older than you already have and that it really does suck to say your age when you get to be in your 30s… it’s completely painful saying your age when someone asks it when you get to be in your 30s so imagine how much worse that’s gonna get when you get even older 😳 I’m scared to death

Yeah, dementia is really hard that way. My Grandma lived with us when she had Alzheimer's, and it was so weird to miss her and grieve her when she's standing right in front of you. That's sad. Bruce has always reminded me of my dad. They both look a lot alike. The fact that we won't see him in movies ever again, is sad. One hell of an actor, and a hell of a guy. A true Hollywood legend.
Such a devastating disease. My dad is in his early stages of Alzheimer’s, I don’t know how I will be able to handle when he starts to forget his family
That's so sad, this type of illnesses causes so much traumatising experience not only for the patient but also their loved ones that seeing their family member suffering from all those symptoms that causing the pain no matter famous or not, it can happen to anyone sadly until it reveals itself suddenly
As someone who has grown up watching die hard movies & that first one with Cybil shepherd, blue moon or something such, I find it extremely hard watching his newest movies when you can see he's struggling & what bothers me most is no-one is saying anything because of who he is. The family should help him step back instead of cashing in on a failing money spinner. it's obvious he can't do it anymore. Please if anyone has a heart let's let him bow out gracefully, he's given us enough.
We lost my Mother-in-law to this. If your loved-one is ever diagnosed with this, hold them close. You don't have much more time with them. Make every minute-count, and don't leave them. They will be more scared than you. Rally your family around you, because you'll need the support system to get-through it.And don't forget to Pray.
Poor man; he’s a lot of talent. I grew up watching all of his movies, as well as his voiceover in Over the Hedge haha. Hope he spends his remaining days well with his children.
Damn this breaks my heart 😢. This man has been a huge hero of mine since I was little. I always loved everything he did and watching interviews and behind the scenes. He always seems like he was having such a great time. Such a wonderful man and a legend... In my eyes
I know Richard Pontious & his family...it's been a change not only for him but his family. A learning curve for many..dificult times that educate us on the seriousness of the disease
Wow his bio says he’s 67. I’m fairly certain I saw an interview with him just 2 years ago and he seemed perfectly fine. I have NEVER seen anyone go from seemingly fine to dementia in just 2 years that was under the age of 70. This is just sad.

My grandfather has dementia it is sad but the inly thing you can do is be there by there side as anyone should one love for my family and one love for the world
My grandma started developing dementia after she had a stroke some time in her 80s. She's 90 now and although she can remember us most of the time she does sometimes spontaneously forget, and she gets confused and forgets about other trivial stuff much more often, like where her bedroom is, or how long she's been here. I was with her and my mom a while ago, just sitting in the kitchen, then suddenly she turned to me and asked where my mother was, I told her she's right next to her, she looked at her and knew her name, but couldn't make the connection between us for several seconds. My mom started explaining to her that I'm her son and she's my grandma's daughter, and as soon as she figured it out she got a really bad headache. It's sad to see her like this, but at least she lived her life first.
My mother's mom had ftd or picks disease and it is brutal and heart breaking to watch. This isn't going to be easy for him or his family I just hope it doesn't progress fast
My heart goes out too Bruce's family, this is so heartbreaking as he is one of my favourite actors 0ever since I saw him star in moonlighting with Cybil Shepherd xx. Live to familyxx
Jesus man when i found out about a year ago it had me sad like he was a friend of minds, me being 38 i came up on so many classics thanx to this guy from Die Hard to Pulp Fiction to especially The Fifth Element & Die Hard With A Vengeance, even the lesser known and liked movies like Mercury Rising, The Siege, The Last Boy Scout & The Jackal i still love or mostly like because of this man, hes one of those rare actors/actresses that i dont care how bad the role or movie is, i love this guy in everything, my grandmother on my dads side passed away from Dementia in January 2017 and me being well read and self educated i knew she had it before the doctors even told us, i asked them and 7 weeks later the doctors told us and seeing her like that knowing there was nothing I could do was no doubt one of the hardest parts of my life, hopefully things arent as grim for Bruce and his family, i wonder now if he knew his time was running out when he did all those movies that were pretty bad in those last few years before he was diagnosed but i hope he knows he's done more than enough to be remembered as one of the greats and in my eyes he has nothing left to prove, its a trip here in July 2024 thinking of his birthday a few months ago and how his family were feeling it could be his last and then thinking of his age i mean 69(or technically maybe 65 since his health faltered) is much longer than many in the world live but it feels young in Bruce's case, i hope he's at the very least not in pain, i was watching Die Hard 2 and i had to pause it to come drop another line for my man, thanx for all the amazing memories bruh from Zed's Dead to Leeloo(& Korbin)Dallas Multipass u always going to be on my short list of Greatest of all Time

Im sorry for your loss, RIP
This is so heartbreaking,he’s so young ,still so much life ahead of him ,it’s nice to see the entire family ex wife his three girls from that marriage, and his new wife and their children.
Well he’s pushing 70 so not what we’d exactly call “so young”
@@justinhopper5941 well I’m 73 and I still remember my third grade school teachers name Mrs. Manning ,the names and faces of my terminally Iill cancer patients and I’ve been retired for 43 years my ex my first address on base housing over 50 years ago 1913 C Tarawa so yes I can say he’s young .
My dad got it at 57 and was died shortly before his 64th birthday. So Bruce made it longer than my dad.
@@peachygal4153 oh my goodness I’m so sorry to hear that ,my dad came to live with me ,he was 80 and in really good heath mentally ,but he dropped dead in my hall one month later ,they had to do an autopsy he died at my home ,he had a bad heart ,but it was lovely to have him with us ,even for such a short time.
I cannot think of a more beautiful man to show us the issues of dementia. I hope his family can endure and continue to show us his fate, in the loving and thoughtful way they have been. It hits so many, and it gets more and more challenging for smaller families and less income families to deal with their parents/grandparents as they slowly slide. So wonderful of this beautiful and caring family!
Poor Bruce I hope he gets well. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You can’t “get well” from dementia. Once you find out you have it, you just hope it doesn’t get worse
mhhh... its untreatable so nope
It's almost a death sentence
@@jairo5535 you can delete the almost because bruce will become a little child in the next couple of years and after that will turn into a soulless shell
He will not get well
It is really really harsh. One of the worst diseases in the world. It affects everyone around the afflicted.
You're going to make him run for president?
Yeah, it sucks! I'm sorry.
Robin Williams had leweybody syndrome, which is another form of dementia. That’s what caused his suicide, not depression
Show him pictures and videos of your time together.
Heartbreaking people have to go through this
Prayers to both families. Devastating to know of anyone going through this. I love Bruce Willis exceptional actor!
Thanks for your continues love❤️ and support, that’s what keeps me going
How long have you been a fan of mine?
My utmost respect to the daughter for taking care of her old man.
Bruce, you were always so awesome. Big Hugs from Canada!!!
Love you Bruce willi ❤ we will never forget the entertainment you have given us over the years.
Bruce is one of greatest actors ever. God bless him and his family
That's so sad, this type of illnesses causes so much traumatising experience not only for the patient but also their loved ones that seeing their family member suffering from all those symptoms that causing the pain no matter famous or not, it can happen to anyone sadly until it reveals itself suddenly
My mum is currently at end stage FTD. My heart breaks watching this
As someone who has grown up watching die hard movies & that first one with Cybil shepherd, blue moon or something such, I find it extremely hard watching his newest movies when you can see he's struggling & what bothers me most is no-one is saying anything because of who he is. The family should help him step back instead of cashing in on a failing money spinner. it's obvious he can't do it anymore. Please if anyone has a heart let's let him bow out gracefully, he's given us enough.
One great actor, who gave us some great movies and excitement . Another great icon. Prayers to you and family, .
My prayers goes out to him and his family...
always be in my heart Bruce. You were an excellent actor. Blessings and greetings from South Africa ❤️🌹❤️🌹🇿🇦
Praying 🙏 for Bruce..and his beautiful family.
I’m so sorry to hear this ❤
So sorry that he, and his family, has to go through that… 😢
It’s part of getting old. Congrats to him for making it that far in life.
Another star must bid farewell to the spotlight, thank you Bruce for so many happy years
Poor man; he’s a lot of talent. I grew up watching all of his movies, as well as his voiceover in Over the Hedge haha. Hope he spends his remaining days well with his children.
How sad poor Bruce🥺🙏🏻
Your in my prayers. God Bless
Poor man, bless him and his family. Let the end not be too painful or difficult.
Damn this breaks my heart 😢. This man has been a huge hero of mine since I was little. I always loved everything he did and watching interviews and behind the scenes. He always seems like he was having such a great time. Such a wonderful man and a legend... In my eyes
OMG, you mean Bruce is getting old like we all do? OMG, what a tragedy! And he is still alive and having to suffer so much? The humanity!
I know Richard Pontious & his family...it's been a change not only for him but his family.
A learning curve for many..dificult times that educate us on the seriousness of the disease
Thank you Bruce! Thank you, for all the great movies.
Wow his bio says he’s 67. I’m fairly certain I saw an interview with him just 2 years ago and he seemed perfectly fine. I have NEVER seen anyone go from seemingly fine to dementia in just 2 years that was under the age of 70. This is just sad.
He'll be turning 68 years old in March of next moth on the 19th.
I think the symptoms can last for years but the more intelligent person is they can cover it up.
The experiment accelerates pre-existing conditions. Even taking them from dormant to acute.
@@rcg1111 What “experiment”? I’m apprehensive to ask because you maybe a internet weirdo because your response is seemingly out of contest with this thread unless there’s a glitch and I’m missing some others comments.
Señor Willis pocas películas de acción me han impactado tanto como la jungla de cristal, es extraordinaria 👍
De corazón le deseo lo mejor y que se recupere lo más rápido posible para volver ha hacernos felices con sus películas ✨💖
We love you Bruce you might forget us but we remember you always !
I wish you all the best Bruce Willis you and your family and may God continue to walk and to help your family to deal with it as well as. Yourself love happiness and I send blessings and a lot of love.
I work with older people that have dementia it's sad watching them and telling me they don't know what to do
Oh man that's so sad. Wish him full recovery 🙏🏿
Heart breaking. I wish him nothing but the best. GOD Bless him
My grandmother has vascular dementia and its literally like im grieving for someone who is still alive

so sad to hear about bruce's progression. so heartbreaking, praying for him and his family.
I was adopted by my grandma. I call her mom. She's dealing with bad dementia now🖤 I feel his daughter's pain. It's so hard

How long have you been a fan of mine?
My grandfather has dementia it is sad but the inly thing you can do is be there by there side as anyone should one love for my family and one love for the world
Very unfortunate, I'm glad his family is there with him
He gave us some great films. God bless ya, Bruce!
I wish Mr. Willis to stay strong. 🙏
My mother's mom had ftd or picks disease and it is brutal and heart breaking to watch. This isn't going to be easy for him or his family I just hope it doesn't progress fast
Im your 3rd subscriber 😂😉

One of the greatest of all time
My heart goes out too Bruce's family, this is so heartbreaking as he is one of my favourite actors 0ever since I saw him star in moonlighting with Cybil Shepherd xx. Live to familyxx
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. Psalms 71:9
So in other words..,? Die young?
Damn it’s hard to see my childhood hero, John Mcclane, suffer like this!!! May God bless and take care of him and his family!!
No amount of money that he has will get rid of it , it is what it is
We love you Bruce, bless you and hope you recover.
PEACE, TO BRUCE... FRIENDS AND FAMILY...
prayers go out the family aswell as for bruce. stay strong..
Prayers and love for Bruce Willis 💞🙏
Wow 😢god bless him and his family I’m almost in tears
I’m 44 my mother is 16yrs older than me and I’m watching her suffer from FTD. I’m the parent and she’s the child and that’s rough.
WOW. Bruce Willis the Legend...How Does it Start From
The transition has begun... from particle to wave... from form to formlessness. Pure God consciousness prior to name/form. ❤️
Father and daughter duo never fades
Two friends I have online have this

@@BruceWillis-uv7ip your not Bruce and the fact that your pretending to be, is disgusting.
Jesus man when i found out about a year ago it had me sad like he was a friend of minds, me being 38 i came up on so many classics thanx to this guy from Die Hard to Pulp Fiction to especially The Fifth Element & Die Hard With A Vengeance, even the lesser known and liked movies like Mercury Rising, The Siege, The Last Boy Scout & The Jackal i still love or mostly like because of this man, hes one of those rare actors/actresses that i dont care how bad the role or movie is, i love this guy in everything, my grandmother on my dads side passed away from Dementia in January 2017 and me being well read and self educated i knew she had it before the doctors even told us, i asked them and 7 weeks later the doctors told us and seeing her like that knowing there was nothing I could do was no doubt one of the hardest parts of my life, hopefully things arent as grim for Bruce and his family, i wonder now if he knew his time was running out when he did all those movies that were pretty bad in those last few years before he was diagnosed but i hope he knows he's done more than enough to be remembered as one of the greats and in my eyes he has nothing left to prove, its a trip here in July 2024 thinking of his birthday a few months ago and how his family were feeling it could be his last and then thinking of his age i mean 69(or technically maybe 65 since his health faltered) is much longer than many in the world live but it feels young in Bruce's case, i hope he's at the very least not in pain, i was watching Die Hard 2 and i had to pause it to come drop another line for my man, thanx for all the amazing memories bruh from Zed's Dead to Leeloo(& Korbin)Dallas Multipass u always going to be on my short list of Greatest of all Time
My grandpa had this and the only time I noticed it was when he swore at my grandma I’d never seen that in my 16 years of knowing him. He passed when I was around 22 and I miss him a lot.
One of my favorite actor. This is very sad.
God Bless you Bruce and you Family ❤🙏
With dementia, that’s why a loving caring family is a treasure !
