san dro It’s kind of hard for new players and rural players to get a Metagross, but it used to be obtainable extremely easily from PvP ( 4 wins in Rank 1 gives you a Metagross )
@@Debo486 same. I had an almost perfect shadow mewtwo and I frigging purified it, and yea it became a hundo but I didn't know it would actually be weaker as a hundo purified than it ever was at a 98% shadow.

I think regular Metagross is better because shadow pokemon have a lower cp but for ultra league and great league thats not the problem and Metagross shines more in master league.
Caught a 98% IV Shadow Beldum, evolved it into a Metagross, unlocked a secondary move, TMed away Frustation and gave it Meteor Mash. I'm broke af in candies right now so it doesn't have the best CP as of now but come December and it'll be terrifying! :D

You'll have to pay close attention to the news in Pokémon GO, it'll let you about any upcoming events, including chances of TMing away Frustration. Another, more expensive way to "bypass" Frustration would be to buy a secondary move and use only that move.
Slowpoke comm day was probably the best pokemon go day I've had. I broke my pr for shinies, got hundo ho oh, and while driving to get dinner, decided to battle a sierra and got a hundo shadow beldum. Still grinding to get enough candies to max.
I was fanatically hitting up all Sierra matches for the purified hundo MM Metagross of my dreams...finally got a qualified shadow Beldum around the end of April this year. Purified it and as soon as I got two Elite Charged TMs (always save one for emergencies) I gave it Meteor Mash after evolving and put it on the fast track for a CP Buddy Boost. Unfortunately I found out about the power of a shadow MM Metagross afterwards and also that it was a muchly desired pull among the hardcore players. So I made that my next goal. Didn't think I'd get close to it soon, but I hit up the Sierra battles like a fiend with every Rocket Radar achieved. I finally got a 96% shadow Belly during the last week of May. I figured that was as good as it was gonna get and put it in my Buddy basket. Then, as if the heavens heard my wishes, another Elite Charged TM became available during the last CD box it was available in...I used that one to MM it. Long story short, I now own two MM Metagross', one hundo and one shadow, BOTH CP Buddy Boosted. They both slap hard and fierce. I thought I was good with this, but your efforts here are kinda coaxing me into chasing a 98% and/or hundo shadow Beldum now!
Found a 215cp shadow beldum right before the TM event, was lucky enough to TM frustration. Evolved it, Tmd it, used elite charge TM for meteor mash, added earthquake and maxed out. It is a beast and ready to go.
I have 1 100iv non shadow Metagross and 2 Shadow Metagross with 84ivs. I have 1 Elite Charge Tm. Pls suggest on which I should use elite charge tm for meteor mash❤️
In your opinion what is more rare, a shiny hundo, or a shadow hundo? I only have one shadow hundo lol, a shadow hundo Machamp, don't get me wrong I love him lol but def want more. I do have a 332 2 star beldum and in my region I'm super happy for that. Keep catching them all. Maybe you could do tailored hunt and video you could find out which is actually more rare. Your the only person capable of catching enough Pokemon to have effective ratios to compare.
I just got back into Pogo about a month ago and I didn’t know that shadow form was better 😔 I read the part that says the CP is boosted and so I purified my shundo 😭
Well they are not "better" in general, they deal 20% more dmg but have 20% less bulk. Its situational what shadow is good at what task but Metagross is one of those that has good typing and bulk anyway so it can afford the drop in bulk. Shadow Snorlax is also insane in PVP.
I just checked my Pokemon and I realized that I have 3 hundos which are drifloon, alolan vulpix and purrloin. I can't raid 3, 4 and 5 star raids because nobody in my city plays Pokemon go
I have a bad one as well, and I am saving it to a lucky trade with my brother... So if you know someone that have shiny beldum save it to a lucky trade, at least you know it will have good IV

Mr_ Chinese_ if a mon has these iv’: 15 15 14, if you Max them out they wil have the same Stats as a pokemon with the iv’s of 15 15 15. The reason for that is becous the defense stat is the same at level 39 and 40
Wait your sure you can even evolve beldums with meteor mash by the end of this year? Afaik it only goes for com day mons featured this and last year? Unless you plan on investing a bunch of elite tm’s

I also hunt for shadow beldum. i've done about 80-100 sierras, free2play only. i got 2 shinies, bad IVs as well.... for the non-shiny i got a 13/14/15 at one of my first, i purified this one (i was stupid back then). and i purified also a 13/13/13. My best shadow Beldum at the moment is a 15/13/11 one, but i think i'm going to power up the two shiny ones. my problem at the moment is the candy as well. just 200 candy left, i evolved 30 level 30-35 beldums at the cday to trade them to new players. they are very happy to receive such usefull mons, but i miss my candy... still trying to get a better one. hundo or 15/15/14 is my final goal. you reached that, congrats :D on the one side i hope Beldum stays longer, on the other side i would also like to see new shadows. greetings from Germany, good luck in the future with the shadow hundos!

I, too, am waiting for the end of year multiple community day event where Pokémon can get the community day moves as Icaught a 98% shadow Ralts(14/15/15) in January and a 96% shadow Abra(13/15/15) in late May this year as well as caught and hatched a good number of community day hundos since the last community weekend in December 2019. I hope they do still do that as I have a concern that they won't provide those since the introduction of the Elite TMs.
The best shadow Pokemon I have is a 98% weavile. I never get good IV shadow mons. I wish these fights happened more often. I don't play much and would like these encounters to be far more often.
