There was nothing like being a kid in the 90s and on Sunday Night Primetime would come on with Chris Berman and Tommy Jackson . The music .. the nicknames. The best
Strength of schedule isn’t as relevant as it might have once been (the Bucs won just one game against a quality opponent in 2020 until the playoffs). Fisher developed McNair and got good play nobody thought Kerry Collins had anymore
@@STP43FAN1 I agree with you about McNair but Kerry Collins wasn’t what you would call “good” that season. 2600 yards, 12 TDS and 7 INTs, very pedestrian stats and he was more of a game manager that year. Titans had the best running game in the AFC in 2008 as well as an awesome defense. If you’ve got that as a quarterback, you’ll win games as long as you’re not god awful. Collins was there to not lose games, he wasn’t gonna go out and win games by himself at that point in his career
The game manager argument is so awful because it completely ignores that situational football trumps volume. Collins that 2008 season was much better than anyone expected.
The worst loss of his playoff career was the 2003/04 AFC championship game against NE, after the Colts rolled over Denver and KC, though the Colts should have beat the Saints in the SB as well ... The Titans got stronger as the game went along for this defeat.
Of Manning’s playoff losses these are the most infamous - 1999 vs Titans 2002 and 2010 vs. NY Jets 2003-04 vs. Patriots. 2012 vs. Ravens Both SB losses
That Viking loss was hilarious with George watching his fumbles on the ground and taking brutal hits. Great arm or not, he could be terrible in the pocket ...
Welcome to Divsional Sunday NFL Primetime with The " Greatest Show on Turf hosting the very 1st playoff home game as their exciting and fun "Cinderella" magical season continues goes into battle with Jeff George and the Vikings and Vermillion 1st playoff game since 1981 during his Eagles day and blow past the Vikings with Future Hall of Famers Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk 😁 and the last playoff game appearance for Jeff George and Randall Cunningham. As for the late game, Its was Peyton manning heartbreaking game for him As they go up against the Upstart Tennessee Titans in a grudge match which goes into a brief rivalry back and forth with Manning and Mcnair, oh boy " The Music City Miracle " Part 2 🏈😊. Good memories. This was the Day Jimmy Johnson resign coaching duties and Dave Wannsdat took over the head coaching duties

The late 90s/early 2000s Vikings. Lots of scoring but a defense that couldn't stop a Division III high school team.
That wasn’t the problem. Failure to execute the bigger the game got
Steve McNair and Eddie George made Jeff Fisher look smart.
Absolutely, he rode off the coattails of that 99 season for YEARS. 2008 didn’t hurt either, but they had a ridiculously easy schedule that year

The current HC in Buffalo, Sean McDermott is a mirror image of Jeff Fisher.
When football was still football in the NFL!!! One of my favorites times to watch! Great memories!!
It’s not football now?
“Coming up on NFL PRAAAMMMMTAAAAAMMMMEEEE.......”-CB
RIP McNair
RIP Wycheck
If it wasn't for 2006 & 2012, *THIS* would be the most devastating playoff loss of Peyton Manning's career. Simple as that.
Dunno the 41-0 route to the Jets in 2002 was a rough one for him too
2004 AFC Divisional was pretty awful... and Super Bowl 48..
2003 AFC championship was pretty bad too

Jeff George was a waste of everyone’s time who kept conning teams into giving him chances he never deserved.
Tony Horne O’Plenty
He could go all the way the goat of the show CB
I been a Tampa Bay buccaneers fan since I was 16 im 40 now so i got 2 Superbowl rings under my belt

"This was a game that you knew would be played above the rim- fitting, an aerial show at the TWA Dome."
The… Rams? Who are these guys? Where did they come from? *checks recent seasons* What is this?
