I loved RE7 and agree, although I wish the ambience of the game more closely matched this trailer. This shit makes it look way more terrifying than it turned out to be. I also should plug the RE7 demo with the ghosts. Terrifying.
The music is just cringe imo. They should have just went straight horror and ambience with the trailer. Idk why publishers make these cringe songs part of the game trailers.
@@lazava5150 I don't think it's "cringe." In fact, such a thing never crossed my mind. I like the trailer music, and most people received it pretty well. This is reflected in this comment section, or in videos posting the OST. Maybe keep stupid opinions to yourself.

Yes because RE 8 is a totally different game than a RE game itself, it's not even a RE game but a failed Resident Evil. And when RE 7 comes close to Resident Evil, it can be alright, but when it comes to close to the classics just not feels alright at all, but the genre is alive there.
@@White927 re7 was literally a throwback to RE1remake, the music, the environments, the puzzles and the endcredits is a clear sign of it, the spirit is there. RE8 on the other hand is a lazyass mess, it's a game that doesn't know what it wants to be, a wasted oportunity to create some awesome horror and tension was ruined, one of the easiest and most forgetable entries of the series so far

To all you people saying rip resident evil or this is trying to be outlast this resident evil looks great. This resident evil actually looks scary/creepy like a real survival horror game should be. The past resident evils in my opinion has been not focused as much on horror but fps more. This one actually looks like a survival horror game that will creep you out and give you chills. Also gameplay hasn't came out yet so I maybe wrong or you people saying rip resident evil or wanna be outlast are wrong. So please.
+Josh Reese (MegaGamerBR) this is definitely not a copy, if you saw the demo, you could pick up objects or tools to use to interact with the environment, I mean last time I checked outlast did not have that at all, really I think capcom chose to make RE a horror detective game which, I my opinion is no where near outlast's genre (I don't think so, I think)

Out last isnt the founder fp horror btw so idk why you casuals who keep comparing it to that shit fest are spouting that non sense. Also this is fp survival horror something much different than that hide from bad guys and wait til theyre gone simulator. Capcom is also trying to cash in on the vr hype and fp was the real way to go. Fixed camera angles are a thing of the past. So they werent going to try that. Also OTS has been done quite a lot and with 5 and 6 being pretty bad. Fp seems like the next best thing to try. This might just be what makes RE scary again.

Crazy how almost all of these shots are from the demo and not the final game.
Making Aunt Rhody a horror song was an absolute phenomenon.
It's ironic because most children's nursery rhymes have a twisted horrific origin, Jack and Jill, Ring around the Rosie, the list goes on. They came from some horrific event and were made into something sweet. For Go tell Aunt Rhody it was the other way around

I remember how hyped i was for this to come out. Such a good game.
I don't get why people are hating this, it's a great concept in my opinion, it was really like silent hill's pt which I adore and this game might become it's successor, plus, taking this new route is great for the franchise, some recent resident evil games are quite, questionable never the least (the pvp one) but it doesn't mean I hate it, (I like the pvp one) but the game hasn't really gotten to the point of it's genre and this new release can help it maintain it.
P.s any of you saying this is a outlast or silent hill pt copy, it's not, you can gather equipment to interact with the environment (or the house idk)

OMG THE SONG!! The song is what really gives me the chills!! It fits in so well with what the game is and the intro to the game and just the small clips and cutscenes here in the trailer just fit the game so well

@@mileswatson1226 except the fact that outlast criticism. Outlast is one of the best horror games in my opinion. Secluded areas with people chasing you. Barely anywhere to hide. The aesthetic, everything. Aged so well.

One of the best re games I played. Just finished it during the weekend. Loved it, the first person doesn't take anything away, it was a bit strange at first playing an re game in first person, I also played some of it in vr. Brilliant game.
And now we have 8 coming out in less than a month

After Re6 there's no other choice but to reboot the series. This Teaser was meant to throw people off. Although it can be played in fp i have a feeling the final product will be different.
