- Our two Africa’s Sportsman Show adventurers Stefan Fouché and Ronald Nel are once again out in the African bush seeking to hunt one of the Big 5. They are both in Namibia looking for buffalo, but Ronald has won the coin flip and is first up. He uses a Verney Carron .500NE double rifle shooting Hornady DGX Bonded factory ammo in 570grains
They are hunting with PH and owner of Ndumo Hunting Safaris Carl Stumphe in the Caprivi Strip of Namibia.

Every buff hunt video is different, depending on the vegetation. This heavy greenery would make me tense; the fact that they walked up on a buffalo at 15yds… Oh boy! Adrenaline rush for sure! I can understand why many buffalo hunters prefer 470’s, 500’s, and such for the close encounters with NO time to react!
