Everyone does. But i still listen to Baz's solo albums for the voice, Skids albums for the songwriting & Rob's band for the groove. Would be better if all that was on 1 CD though.

I mean yea. By this time these bands were a dime a dozen. You had to have the talented frontman to make it at this time. That could be said for most of the hair bands at that time. That sucks because these guys were very talented. They all got lumped in with the genre and thrown out. But a lot of these bands that were well known. We’re known because they were actually very good bands that were putting out great music. But once the hair thing started going out they were all doomed. No matter how good they were. But Bach was above so many with his voice. Just amazing, second tape I ever bought was slave to the grind. Think this album if released today may do better than when it was released in 90s. Think this album has gotten much stronger as time has moved on. Think there are more of the basic rock fans listening to heavier music. This was somewhat hard rock for the time and for the genre they were in. They prob got lumped in with the wrong genre because of their big hits being ballads in a sense. But they did have heavier tone on most of their albums. But their ballads are what everyone latched onto. But Bach was a standout with that voice.

But Snake and Bolan is the brain of the band. I think everyone matters the same here. So rare situation but that's what happened. Proof is none can be as big as all together in parted ways nowdays.

Dude thank you so much for posting these. I just went through all of them and it was such a treat to get to see Skid Row in their absolute prime. I was only 3 when Slave came out so I never got the chance to witness it in person, and this is the next best thing. Bach was one of the greatest rock frontmen of all time
that's right a Canadian at his best Peterborough on. just outside of Toronto I grew up with bazes younger brother zakk who went on to play pro hockey with the Florida panthers organization

Grunge a actually didn’t compete with metal in Europe that much but more another sub genre or alternative to everything else. Metal survived over here because European music was independent from MTV.

As a vocalist myself yes I absolutely agree, you can have the song however if you don’t have a rock star as a frontman then forget it.
This is hands-down one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
