I did not know that there were so many dwarf planets in our solar system and that many moons for Uranus and Neptune. Really interested in getting to know more about them
@Orion By what? Its "atmosphere" is so thin that any molecule in it will probably fall back to the surface or escape into space before colliding with another molecule in that "atmosphere." It's something called an exosphere, and it's too thin for any sort of liquid to be stable on the surface of the Moon. So, how do you defend this remarkable view of yourself? What sort of life could survive and be active in such an environment? Are you being cute and counting the dormant microbes that might have been left behind on spacecraft left there? Because that would really be stretching the definition of "inhabibited" to a trollish extent.
We don’t even understand the full nature of the universe. You think we understand the full nature of life? There are probably life forms that are unrecognized by us everywhere.
Great video and very interesting. I wish there would be an effort to find life outside our earth as we need to understand what is out there and its structure, composition, and habitat. It would advance our stagnate knowledge of biology too and give us knowledge on where more life may live.
One thing I'm curious about with subsurface ocean life. The current idea of abiogenesis implies that organic compounds form with certain gases in the atmosphere and a sudden energetic burst, usually a lightning bolt. I'm curious as to how abiogenesis could occur without a proper atmosphere for gases or lightning.
I think it's been shown that that isn't the only way in which complex organic molecules can form - after all, they are present in large quantities within asteroids and comets; and probably formed in relatively high quantities via other planetary processes
Chris Gardner I know that other forms of abiogenesis could easily exist. I'm just saying that it'll be interesting to see how it works in places unlike earth.
11:28 I was there, at a mission post at ESA-ESTEC, as a video editor, editing the live feeds for international news broadcasts. Nope, it was just a raw feed copied to tape, cut and broadcasted. No CGI editing. It was amazing to experience this event! There was a huge hall where parts of the ISS were stored. They are used to help fix problems on the actual ISS in case there are any issues.
Extraterrestrials are in the moon. It is a hollow titanium shell that was used around Mars first. When things are dropped on the moon, the whole moon rings like a bell for a half hour. It was used around the fourth planet before the fourth and fifth planets had a nuclear war.
I hope this video inspires some young viewers to study biology, astrobiology, aerospace engineering, physics, astrophysics, astronomy, and science in general so that they may one day find joy in actively working for NASA or other science organization to reveal more of space's mysteries to humanity! Maybe one of your viewers will one day be leading the project team for a space probe that lands on one of these fascinating moons! :)
Great video! (as always). Hasn't it been suggested that Ceres might have a subsurface ocean? Of course, an even stronger candidate for a subsurface ocean is Titan.
The problem is we all think That life should only flourish in “Earth like conditions” Thats the life as we know it! Have you ever think of a human being That breathes methane? And can survive only in earth with methane gas apparatus?

It is so frustrating to see our feeble attempts at exploring these celestial bodies on the timescale of the solar system. But on the other hand, I would blame Science fiction that has injected an impatience in enthusiasts who now expect much more than what is possible. It is something that adds to the frustration of our technological limitations. However, we as a species need to bring our own house in order first, ensuring a sustainable social structure without trillions of dollars wasted on violence and conflict.
@wijdan khaliq "bring our own house in order" is not even a practical aim, mankind will never be perfect, we will always be a bit of a mess, it's in this chaos that we find meaning, if it were up to you we'd all be sitting in the dark ages trying to "bring our house in order". Technology only progresses when there is need for better technology, if we stagnate as a species we will never have the tech required to go to the stars. Please keep your regressive 7th century bogus to yourself and preach it to those who would rather pursue the futile task of perfecting human society. Rather than being thankless and utterly clueless about our progression as a society in the past 4000+ years, go read a bit of history and you'll realize how far we've come and how much more stable and sorted our society/lives have become. You reek of someone who hasn't read much but is too eager to give an opinion.
Sigh. The house of the West IS in reasonable order. How likely is a war between France and Germany, these days? All the West needs to do is eject migrants whose cultures add little value, like those of the Middle East, and build deeper relations with those societies that have more to offer (eg. those of East Asia). Yes, I said it. Yes, I meant it.
@Amr M Not really. That having been said, having replied to your comment, I've found my comment getting deleted, twice, a few minutes after I've replied. Not sure who or what is doing that censorship, but what a cowardly way to handle a discussion.
@Astrum - You forgot to mention that Titan is expected to have a subsurface water ocean. This opens the possibility that Titan could have two biospheres, one on the surface and one inside. Not that either seems likely, but at this point, who knows?
I think one important question always ignored when it comes to life at deep ocean around the ht vents is if it started there or not? To me its more consistent to the life on earth if we assume started through sun and later continued elsewhere to simply stay alive!
Brilliant video as always. Thanks! Personally I worry about the deminishing solar activity not about life on other places than earth. Maintaining life here would be a much larger problem to solve in the near future when the next glaciation phase is on going.
I love science. It makes sure there is only one awnser for every question we have. It doesn't consider philosophical or wrong viewpoints. There's just one awnser, and we can't debate about it.
I wonder what happens if we artificially lit up Jupiter by some means such as newly proposed fusion technique which involves Boron fusing with hydrogen using means of some sort of lasers and as it was a failed star. Then would it possibly make it's moons habitable ?
I should be better than this, but each time I heard "geysers" old folks yelling "get off my moon!" came to mind. Love this channel and thank you for putting in so much effort for the resulting productions
A geyser (/ˈɡaɪzər/, also /ˈɡiːzə/)[1][2] is a spring characterized by intermittent discharge of water ejected turbulently and accompanied by steam. As a fairly rare phenomenon, the formation of geysers is due to particular hydrogeological conditions that exist only in a few places on Earth. Generally all geyser field sites are located near active volcanic areas, and the geyser effect is due to the proximity of magma. Generally, surface water works its way down to an average depth of around 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) where it contacts hot rocks. The resultant boiling of the pressurized water results in the geyser effect of hot water and steam spraying out of the geyser's surface vent (a hydrothermal explosion).
So sad I’ll miss out on a lot of new findings because in my opinion the world is just recently starting to develop.... there is so much yet beyond our imagination that’s going to be around and explored damn I hope 🤞🏼 I’ll be around to atleast witness a few before I leave this beautiful thing we call life ❤️❤️
I quite like being at this "tipping-point" stage of time. We get jaded with discoveries pretty fast, so it's thrilling to see the universe measurably expanding within my lifetime. It's like living in the greatest age of ocean exploration, only without the stain that the later colonial age left on the idea of expanding the map.
The most important aspect of exploring these places is not to contaminate the alien environment with earth life. Lifeforms exist on earth that could exist in the conditions found over there. Also consider the age of the Earth vs the age of the outer worlds. We have billions of years of evolution in head start to these most likely microscopic lifeforms.

I did not know that there were so many dwarf planets in our solar system and that many moons for Uranus and Neptune. Really interested in getting to know more about them
Awesome video.Thanks.
The 61 people that disliked this video weren’t people but aliens 👽!!!
Anyway , this is by far my favorite channel.
Enceladus!!! Superb video buddy.
hey man, this is the best real ASTRUM chanel. keep this going please
Ganymede, Europa, Titan, Venus sorta, Mars, Enceladus, Pluto, Triton, Iapetus, Ceres, Our moon are likely candidates
If you investigate NASA pictures more than you would know, there on all of the moons and planets meaning it inhabited....
Our moon?!
Don't forget about Earth, I'm convinced we'll find life there at some point.
@Orion Crazy, right? Where would the OP get such an idea?
@Orion By what? Its "atmosphere" is so thin that any molecule in it will probably fall back to the surface or escape into space before colliding with another molecule in that "atmosphere." It's something called an exosphere, and it's too thin for any sort of liquid to be stable on the surface of the Moon.
So, how do you defend this remarkable view of yourself? What sort of life could survive and be active in such an environment? Are you being cute and counting the dormant microbes that might have been left behind on spacecraft left there? Because that would really be stretching the definition of "inhabibited" to a trollish extent.
I’d be willing to bet that someday we’ll discover that life can be found in 90% of all areas of the universe.
what
We don’t even understand the full nature of the universe. You think we understand the full nature of life? There are probably life forms that are unrecognized by us everywhere.
@@jersey-dude idk i thought about it a few times, might be possible that life exists in forms that we dont recognize
for now it is what it is
@@kowya5952 I know it sounds foreign and impossible, but then again, so is the thought of a singularity...
Lou K I 100% believe there’s life somewhere
Great video and very interesting. I wish there would be an effort to find life outside our earth as we need to understand what is out there and its structure, composition, and habitat. It would advance our stagnate knowledge of biology too and give us knowledge on where more life may live.
One thing I'm curious about with subsurface ocean life.
The current idea of abiogenesis implies that organic compounds form with certain gases in the atmosphere and a sudden energetic burst, usually a lightning bolt. I'm curious as to how abiogenesis could occur without a proper atmosphere for gases or lightning.
It's a good point. The answer is that we don't really know, and we'll have to wait and see!
I think it's been shown that that isn't the only way in which complex organic molecules can form - after all, they are present in large quantities within asteroids and comets; and probably formed in relatively high quantities via other planetary processes
There are many ways for life to form and doesn't need lightning and gas! It is simply an hypothesis
Chris Gardner I know that other forms of abiogenesis could easily exist. I'm just saying that it'll be interesting to see how it works in places unlike earth.
@Alex Siemers are you referring to the Miller-Urey experiment's findings on abiogenesis theory? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller%E2%80%93Urey_experiment
man to man, your voice is soothing bro
Thank you.. Excellent as always ☺️☺️☺️
Alex, I love ur vids. I often watch them while munching down on bkfast. Thanks for making these, worth sharing!!
One can hope! That would be awesome :)
Great video! (as always). Hasn't it been suggested that Ceres might have a subsurface ocean? Of course, an even stronger candidate for a subsurface ocean is Titan.
I'll put my money on Enceladeus been the prime candidate
i made a presentation about enceladeus i now know evrything about the moon and its so cool
If you can spare some of your drug money I’ll bet you none of this is real.

Thank you! keep going, you are amazing.
I'd give you two thumbs up if I could. Another excellent video.
Great Video.
Brilliant video but found out europa clipper won’t be orbiting europa because of the radiation from Jupiter it will be making a lot of flybys
How cool would it be to live on a moon... looking at a huge planet in the sky.
The problem is we all think That life should only flourish in “Earth like conditions”
Thats the life as we know it!
Have you ever think of a human being That breathes methane? And can survive only in earth with methane gas apparatus?
Saw ur latest video on pluto nd cheron...sry seeing this video after 4 months of upload...keep up the great work...nd hope to see ur youtube diamond button soon :)
I am a great source of both fuel and life
I have life in my lakes
Tell us your secrets!!
Titan: what about oxygen? (you know, fuel without oxygen is useless :)
Screw you Titan go home! We don't serve your kind here.
Jim Sigs I have creatures of the atozome and I have lots and lots of ice pebbles

Excellent work thanks for these gifts
It is so frustrating to see our feeble attempts at exploring these celestial bodies on the timescale of the solar system. But on the other hand, I would blame Science fiction that has injected an impatience in enthusiasts who now expect much more than what is possible. It is something that adds to the frustration of our technological limitations. However, we as a species need to bring our own house in order first, ensuring a sustainable social structure without trillions of dollars wasted on violence and conflict.
Wijdan Khaliq the only answer is our lord ... if you repent and your saved he’ll give you all the wisdom you want . Hes outside of time/space
You reek of someone who hasn't read much but is too eager to give an opinion.
look at it this way ... look how far we have come in just a little over 100yrs ...
@Amr M Not really.
That having been said, having replied to your comment, I've found my comment getting deleted, twice, a few minutes after I've replied. Not sure who or what is doing that censorship, but what a cowardly way to handle a discussion.
Alex I love your voice and videos. Your so soothing to my ears. Love to fall asleep listening to you. 💞👍💞

"It has extremely active geezers"
I know, I tried so hard not to comment on that, I guess it seems I did anyway... Damn GEEZERS!
Nothing worse than a spewing geezer!
Ha ha made me chuckle when I heard it
"Get off my lawn, humans!"
I know some extremely active geezers. They're an inspiration to us all.
Launch the Europa Lander!
Where we "BELIEVE" life can be found, is a very important connotation
Hmm think is a better word as religion is less believable than science so he’s taking a lesser evil really
Thanks for new idea sir
so titan can be assumed suitable for life
It's a possibility!
how much time would be required to travel there and approx estimate of expense, very nice video by the way
I should be better than this, but each time I heard "geysers" old folks yelling "get off my moon!" came to mind. Love this channel and thank you for putting in so much effort for the resulting productions
I like it thank you video like it
Cool video
Geezers need excitement.
They might erupt, those geezers.
Geezers gonna Geez
ThStrrts
British pronunciation of geysers.
The resultant boiling of the pressurized water results in the geyser effect of hot water and steam spraying out of the geyser's surface vent (a hydrothermal explosion).
brilliant video
Wow, NASA found geezers on Mars?! I guess that's where all my friends have gone over the last few years. An I thought they just croaked! Would NASA take me there so I can join my fellow geezers? (All kidding aside, GREAT videos! Keep them coming!)
nope, they are still here , ruining our planet and our future by voting in republicans and an insanely demented donald trump.. i wish they HAD all gone to mars.. maybe we can still shoot em out into space before they kill us all.
@@raidermaxx2324 that was kind of funny, but the type of unnecessary and politically charged comment that no one asked for. I also don't like Trump or his followers, but saying this makes you sound as bad as the assholes on the other side of the spectrum.
I hate when ppl say “it is unexpected to have life here because of this/that” like if living things are living there that can be NORMAL to them and not to us. Vice versa
