This Vlog was terrific. The Museum was impressive and the guide was great. We really appreciate that you took the time to film the graves - it made us feel we were walking the grounds alongside you. The Jim Henson and Kermit statue was joyful. Then, as if all that wasn't great enough - you even found the Zappa bust! Many thanks for this Jordan - your simply the best.
Enjoyed seeing George Washington history, gravesites, and family roots. Also loved the bust of Frank Zappa & the statue of Jim Henson & Kermit especially. The scenery of the grounds and River were spectacular as well. Thank u 🙏🏻 as always Jordan for the history lesson. ❤️
Jordan, you've taken us to places we've never known existed and today you didn't disappoint! Thank you so very much from this 73 year old in Riverside CA.😎
Hi Jordan, I love that Jim Henson and Kermit Statue/Bench, it was really cute. I didn't know George Washington liked to dance. There are some beautiful views from that property and you had another good tour guide aswell. Great vlog Jordan.
Wow I got emotional when you showed Jim and Kermit..brings back such good memories, Kermit raised me as a kid, way before simpsons got a hold of me..hahaa..Jim Henson is such a Treasure. Great video Jordan. 🐸
I spent my childhood in Maryland from age 4 thru 14. I never knew this about the University of Maryland, Jim Henson ! Wow... One of the most Beautiful and Historical parts of America. I Swear I learn something new every time I watch one of your vlogs ! :)
Thank you for the detailed info on the Washington Family Loved the Jim Henson statue---Kermit's hand on Jim's arm was emotional I also miss Jah Safe travels
I am a graduate of the University of Maryland and not only is there a statue to Jim Henson and Kermit but Kermit was given an honorary MBA degree a few years ago from the school. Thank you Jordan for sharing the trip and I am really enjoying your channel. 😊☀️❤️
George Washington was a direct close relative of Princess Diana 👸 Spencer. The Spencer family proudly maintain the earlier family home on Althorp. George Washington looked almost identical to his Spencer cousins in his day. This program is so wonderful. Thank you.
I love the statues of Frank Zappa, Jim Henson and Kermit. This is a beautiful home. Thank you for bringing us along. You and Jah Stay safe and take care.
Great Vlog Jordan Jim Henson & Kermit so cool makes my heart happy little girl in me shed a tear of happiness all he created for all generations waking up happy to see sesame street to The Labyrinth Movie & Thank you for Washington history too Safe Travels to you & Jah
Thank you Jordan for this video i really enjoyed seeing the different statues like Jim Henson and Frank Zappa. i really enjoyed the tour of George Washington birth place.
This is a great place for kids and families. Moved to the Northern Neck from Caroline when I got married. Love the history here! Folks should try to catch the Garden Tour in April when the old houses & churches here are open (skip the millionaire domiciles that have been showing up on it.) Try to make it to Christ Church in Lancaster Co, think that’s open all the time, probably designed by Christopher Wren. Used to be a nice place for quiet contemplation, but “come heres” took it over-the little museum they started is nice-try to ditch the guides when you go through the church. Say hey to “King” Carter for me! Love watching your travels.
As a child living in Maryland, the school field trips involved mount Vernon and George Washington's birth place. I could remember visiting the tobacco farm and all the small houses were opened and had actors replicating the work that was done. Thank you for visiting such an important part of our history.
In the late 1800's factories were full of women who worked. Also in offices. And on farms. They just weren't allowed into the professions (law, medicine, etc) although various individual women did anyway. As you mentioned, it was the wives of wealthy men who were not allowed to work since one sign of wealth and success was that the wife and daughters did not have to work.
A excellent view thanks so very much! We Appreciate your amazing coverage on so many subjects & we sure enjoy your Prolific Content! From Iceland to the Tina Turner Home! We remember your days with the Adam 🙂 Ty for the vast library of content. I recommend every one to look into what you have posted Epic! Something for everyone, & you took us everywhere. My apologies for getting the Gunner video wrong( embarrassing )as we only seen the post. I had the wrong Gunner so sorry ....Luv&Peace Sean&family ❤🤝🏼✌🏼
Now this was so colorful Baltimore. From musicians and entertainers to George Washington. The recreation of the Washington home fantastic and its history. But best has to be the rainbow 🌈 connection of Kermit and Jim . Thanks for the history lesson 🙂. 🤗👍
Jordan, this’ll sound crazy, but, I can’t get away with watching, my grand daughter comes running (5 y) when ever she hears the opening music! Our love to you and Jah, always.
My favorite subject in school was History and I watched an animated show called Liberty's Kids and Washington was one of the Historical Figures portrayed in the show as well as Benjamin Franklin, and etc. 😎💖
George became a tree lover after the cherry tree incident which happened at Ferry Farm, his boyhood home in my neck of the woods. There's also the beautiful and haunted Kenmore house, the home of George's sister Betty (who looked a lot like him bless her heart) and her husband Fielding Lewis. For eleven years, I took tour group photos on the grounds there. Also there's the lovely setting of the University of Mary Washington. Give me a heads up when you're coming to the burg. Maybe you'd like to catch a Fred Nats game at our new baseball stadium! They do fireworks after the games on Fridays.
HEY, JORDAN & JAH What's up guy's WOW, Yeah, That's really very Weird Zappa was born in Baltimore But having that bust of Frank Zappa at a street that really doesn't have anything to do with him ?? Yup, got to love The Old guy George Washington Happy birthday on your 200th Year boy your old That's funny that the kitchens we're In a Different building probably because It' Was a fire hazard keep the awesome videos coming OK Take care stay safe God bless and will see you on the next awesome video project
Love our Early American history. I've visited Independence Hall, Ben Franklin's house that burned I believe and the Liberty Bell. Spent a week touring D.C. Fun times. Oh! Spent 4th of July in D.C. Fantastic fireworks.
Another great information packed vlog. And you have a Lancashire County? I was born there too, but in the UK! Can't wait to see Jah's reaction when you see him again!
What afacinating episode Jordon. Al though I'm a very proud Auzzie,I have of late been wanting to find out more about American history. One day I hope to pay a trip over the pond to see your absolutely beautiful country. Kind regards to yourself Jordon & Jah from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺.
Really interesting, even for a non American like me! I am disappointed you didn't vlog anything with Dan Bell though. I was really struck by George Washington preferring to be called General because he earned that title! He has a point! Anyone can be President if they have enough money and the sort of personality to appeal to voters, but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to become a general!
Hi Jordan, I type this on 4/28, my birthday and Jah's, as well as your Dad. I'm 66,000 yrs. old. but when I saw George Washington's name along w/ Zappa's, I knew I was looking at a DAZE W/Jordan the lion site. all the best to you both.
I hope you hit Jamaica someday and Visit Errol Flynn's estate, Goldeneye Ian Flemings estate plus all things Bob Marley etc. Other than that? Another great video!
Hey Jordan. You should check out independence Hall in Philadelphia. I grew up around there and I take my kids a few times now. It'd be cool to see your take on it
Went to the ceremony for the uncovering of the Zappa bust. Dwezel Zappas band played. Couldn't understand why it was placed there myself. That strip used to be awesome around that library. A Woodworth and lots of other great stores.
I grew up in Maryland, and never knew Jim Henson went to the University of MD. question. is that the baltimore campus or College PArk? great video as always, Jordan.
It's great to see these places preserved but NOT at the expense of people living today, which unfortunately tends to happen. People like Washington were VERY big on new ideas about farming and growth. They would HATE that they are being used to keep that from happening like has happened across the Potomac from Mt Vernon. My family alone lost over 100 acres because the Feds came in to maintain the view from Mt Vernon, with Binoculars. I wonder how many farmers have been hurt in that area from these places.
That’s cool. Many other things to check out in northern Virginia. Full of rich history. I thoroughly enjoy all your videos by the way. Keep up great content.
crazy thing for him was that he expressed in his will, only till his death could the slaves be released and free. Found that out in the tour at Mt. Vernon and thought - what an ass. No wonder our country continues to strive to get along. Deep cracks in this land.
Very interesting vlog! That property looks very peaceful. The Jim Henson and Kermit statue brought a tear to my eyes. Excellent video as always!

Cool Jordan I have seen those statues also in Baltimore! There is a place in NJ called George Washington's Headquarters. It was an interesting place.
What afacinating episode Jordon.
Al though I'm a very proud Auzzie,I have of late been wanting to find out more about American history. One day I hope to pay a trip over the pond to see your absolutely beautiful country.

Hope you can make it to Colonial Williamsburg! (Or have you been already?)
Love this
Hi Jordan, I type this on 4/28, my birthday and Jah's, as well as your Dad. I'm 66,000 yrs. old. but when I saw George Washington's name along w/ Zappa's, I knew I was looking at a DAZE W/Jordan the lion site. all the best to you both.

You do some good job blogging
Very cool.

Thabks, Jordan! 😁
I hope you hit Jamaica someday and Visit Errol Flynn's estate, Goldeneye Ian Flemings estate plus all things Bob Marley etc. Other than that? Another great video!
Great tour yes, knowledgeable tour guide. The half piano like instrument looked like it was half in the wall. A zydeco perhaps?
This video is very valuable to me living in Japan.
Thank you so much.
You were in my neighborhood of Highlandtown! I would have loved to meet you. Enjoyed all the vlogs of Baltimore.
Yay. You got to see the house. When I went it was closed due to covid. I love the trails when we went
Hey Jordan. You should check out independence Hall in Philadelphia. I grew up around there and I take my kids a few times now. It'd be cool to see your take on it
Hi Jordan I hope you are doing well!
Jordan, when will u ur next live show
That place looks awesome! I was just thinking of it the other day.
Went to the ceremony for the uncovering of the Zappa bust. Dwezel Zappas band played. Couldn't understand why it was placed there myself. That strip used to be awesome around that library. A Woodworth and lots of other great stores.
Hi Jordan
I grew up in Maryland, and never knew Jim Henson went to the University of MD. question. is that the baltimore campus or College PArk? great video as always, Jordan.
Wow u are in Patterson park, eastern Ave good old canton an highlandtown.
Are the out buildings replicas as well?
Zappa said: If you want to learn something, go to a library.
I think the Zappa bust is in the right place.
I wondered if maybe his family lived near there when he was born
I certainly suspect it is in the neighborhood his family was in before they went to California.
Was the tour free and was it awkward keeping engaged fully while being the only guest?
Yes, and Yes, very awkward.. haha because he's kinda doing a script, so if you ask anything. It kind of throws off the flow of the script
Actually the both went to the universality cause Kermit was his creation 😉
It’s the Adele…(Hello. It’s me🎵) state union 3:58

If you up in our neck of the woods you should do a video on the Star Wars x fighter in the guys back yard. Adam the woo has been there. Kinda cool
I'm not a star wars fan
That’s cool. Many other things to check out in northern Virginia. Full of rich history. I thoroughly enjoy all your videos by the way. Keep up great content.

LOve Jim and LOVED Kermit so sad that Jim died and didn't have to love that [pretty blue and white bedspread
The tour guide looks a lot like George Washington.
