- I didn't think you could reach another tier of incompetence but Disney Star Wars proved me wrong yet again. The Acolyte doubles down, then triples down, all in the same episode.

Its sad to watch someone who is so joyless, and instead of having an open mind, spends the entire time whining and complaining. Rather than waiting to hear the full story you just assume the show is wrong and poorly written. Ki-Adi-Mundis age is only mentioned once in legends not canon, his appearance here is no issue. Its clear you just dont want to like the show and need validation so just stop watching, problem solved.
If you look at the HUGE amount on YT etc you don't have to be a 200+ to know it's absolute garbage. Critical Drinker is reputable for instance and it's a pile of garbage.
@@ekspatriat Dont know him but looking at his video titles, looks like every video is him disliking what hes watching, kinda reenforces my point of joylessness. I think the show is good, is the writing perfect? is the child acting perfect?, no. But they dont need to be for it to still be an enjoyable watch. You are welcome to not like something, but just because you dont like it doesnt make it absolute garbage. Try having an open mind and enjoy the ride, and you dont need to point to others to get your opinions on a piece of art.

@@cyrogyro not a casual fan, it seems like a lot of die hard fans try and prove they are die hard fans by being overly critical, Star Wars canon does not full include legends, and the show doesn't break canon. What specifically/example do you think is not respecting the spirt of the base material (legends)?
I'll humor you on this, since it seems you're going to keep defending this piece of turd regardless, and say that it's completely and utterly Star Wars. As far as Star Wars is concerned, no problems. Let's say that. I don't believe it but let's say that's the case. EVEN if that was true, it's still a bad show in every which way.
Characters - There are none. They're walking mouth pieces. How can you tell? Well, this upsetting event is set in motion in episode one that sends all of these people out on an "adventure" yet it is in no way inconvenient to Osha or anyone else. There are no stakes in the story because there are no characters.
Dialogue - it's either telling you what you've already seen, or it's exposition. There is no cleverness, no wit, no discussions about anything that would even hint at worldbuilding outside the little square box it's sitting in.
Setting - Every planet looks the same. They have trees and grass, or sand and some tattooine-esque buildings. It's plain, boring, and uncreative.
Story - There isn't one. Mae hunts down jedis to avenge her cult being killed? No, not according to episode four. Osha wants to reunite with the sister that killed her family and tried to kill her for wanting a life? Sure, but does it make sense? No. Smilo Ren is... trying to destroy the jedi by having his acolyte do sidequests with handicaps attached to them... okay? What?
Make any argument you like but the fact of the matter is that this show fails on EVERY level. Not just breaking canon.

Really, where are the planets like Thessia from Mass Effect 3? Not every planet in the galaxy is going to look like each other. As much as I dislike Andromeda even it had Havarl, there's no diversity in Star Wars where it matters.

Completely agree. I don’t go into entertainment (if you can call it that) to be reminded of everyday life bs. If I wanted that from my fiction I wouldn’t be consuming it in the first place.
