- Donald's disappeared, and it's up to José Carioca and Panchito to find him.
Float along to live-action footage of the people and places of Mexico superimposed with animation inspired by the 1944 Disney film The Three Caballeros. And join Panchito, the Mexican charro rooster, and José Carioca, the Brazilian parrot, for hilarity and hijinks as they search for their wayward friend throughout this fun-filled ride for all ages. Will they find him in time for the big finale in Mexico City?

This is my favorite ride in Epcot. This makes me sad because this ride is SO UNDERRATED
Same! When I was younger I went to disney and at one point they just let me stay on the ride because I just kept on riding it lmao
Never a line is always a plus. Lol
Doesn’t bother me that it’s underrated I can get on whenever I want!
yes
I love that United States takes the Beautiful and fun parts of Mexico. Not only Mexico, every country included in Epcot! That's what I love about Disney. They always have a positive way of showing different things to the world
And alot of people just don't get that. Some despise it.
I am personally SO HAPPY that they decided to give this one to the Three Caballeros. They're fantastic characters and besides this ride and a few parents that have gotten the Three Caballeros DVD to show their kids, there's pretty much no trace of them left in Disney. And I don't see why - the concept is like going on the ultimate bachelor road trip adventure with your buddies. :D Who doesn't want that? Not to mention that the creation of this team is a cool lesson on history, and they were pretty much made as a way to teach Americans about our Central and South American allies in WWII. That's awesome!!! :D Props to Disney for giving these guys their chance to shine again!!
I also enjoy the Three Caballeros theming with this
PixarShark Political correctness. The fact that Jose smokes and Panchito is armed and seems trigger-happy are BIG no-nos for the Left. That, and the fact that they are considered "racist caricatures" of Mexicans by liberals.
Thoralmir Well that's just dumb. XD We may have not been the classiest people throughout history, but it's still OUR history and there's a lot of good to be learned from it.
Since we became WAY TOO WORRIED about offending people. XD In Disney's case, they haven't always been the best conveyers talking about other cultures according to a lot of feedback. Irrational or not, DIsney kinda has a lot of pressure on them as the bearer of the world's concept of "morality" nowadays. I feel bad for them in that. D: But hey, teaching SOMETHING was better than nothing. With very few exceptions (i.e. no Pixar), I'm afraid Disney has hardly ventured into doing a movie about a culture outside of North America and non-specific Fairytale Europe since Emperor's New Groove for this reason.
+Thoralmir Jose is actually Brasilian, so the fact that he smokes cannot be seen as a "racist caricature of Mexicans" if you "really" want to be politically and culturally correct. I'm of Mexican descent and I don't find Panchito's character offensive.
If i'm correct I believe Eric Goldberg supervised the animation on this. Really captures the look of the movie well.
Good Job finding the hidden Mickey! 6:22.
I rode this the first time going to Disney world, I was so confused because the movie was older than me, but then I saw the movie and now I get it, I am DEFINITELY going to ride this again next time I go.🇮🇹🇲🇽
I like the part when Donald loses his bathing suit. That was pretty funny.
Hey, give me back my bathing suit!
I think it's a reference to a scene in the movie!
@@theroaringdino7263 it definitely is
I love how they included the flying serape.
1:34 el palacio de bellas artes OMG!!!!!!!! 😱😱
I remember when I first rode this: my family and I were on vacation, and while my family was elsewhere, I took part in some Kim Possible missions. I family told me to meet them in Mexico for lunch, so I did my final KP mission there, and after I finished it, I took part in the ride before eating with my family (they didn't know about the ride before then).
IVE BEEN THERE WHEN I WAS FOUR THIS IS MAKING ME CRY 😭
The end has robots of Donald Jose and Panchito that sing the three caballeros song now
Yeah
it's true and I hate it
i don't know anymore Imagineers Worked Hard On This You Should Appreciate What They Did Instead Of Just Hating It
@@am_goose fuk you
I just prefer animation over the animatronics
We're heading to WDW for the first time in two weeks and this is probably the ride I'm looking most forward to in Epcot. I love the Three Caballeros!
CoryTheRaven Have a GREAT time!
Figment -The disneyworld epcot ride The ride or WDW as a whole? :)
For the ride, I loved it! I don't understand why so many people seem to dislike it... As a silly boat ride through video screens of Mexico, I enjoyed having the Three Caballeros as a guide!
We also had dinner at the San Angel Inn Restaurante, and between the restaurant and the ride, I would say that the Mexico pavilion was my favourite in World Showcase. Gran Fiesta Tour was definitely my favourite ride in Epcot (sorry to say, beyond World Showcase, Epcot was a bust).
Figment -The disneyworld epcot ride LoL, thanks!
I checked out this video to remember what the ride looked like before the animatronics. They blend in so seamlessly that I forgot there was a time they weren’t there.
Really Jacob? That's awesome. It is overlooked by many - sort of tucked away in the rear of the Mexico Pavilion. I love it.
I went on this ride five times in a row XD
I loved this ride so much I rode it twice
One of my favorite rides ever.
luveprincesora Me too - just love it - relaxing - and even more fun after a Tequila :)
when i was in disney with my family a few years ago, we were in epcot when it started pouring rain. We were in the resteraunt featuring this ride at the time, so we decided to just keep going on it over and over until the rain stop. When we left, it was still raining, but those 10 or so times i road on this ride was the best experience i had that day.
I like it too - perfect on a rainy day
This video is super! You feel as if you are right there in the boat.
I miss watching this movie. I love this movie.
Que bonito es como salir en septiembre a la calle,
I love that Donald Duck And his Friends José And Patchito They are the Legend of the Three Caballeros
Also part of the Series from Disney Plus I watch all of them
In the end of Chapter 13 They fought FellDrake the Evil Staff
I hate that guy
The animation at the end is gorgeous… but imagine being one of the animators, and Disney comes up to you and says “We’re getting rid of it.”
You’d be more furious than Bulma.
The fact that Donald got a ride in Epcot and a show in magic kingdom before Mickey even got one ride makes me so happy
AMAZING!! I´m glad the characters were not made in CGI. Almost all the animated segments were created by Eric Golberg and all of them are BEAUTIFUL. We need more 2D animations like that in cinemas. Like if you are agree.
Best ride in Epcot
I loved this ride when I road it in Disney
5:12 Three-screen layer scene in Fiesta City: first is Mariachi band, second screen is women performing native dance called pasodoble and Donald, and the third screen is Panchito pulling Donald on the magic carpet in front of pasodoble dancers.
I really hope that they don't replace this ride! I haven't been on it with the animatronics instead of the screen at the end yet though
I like the Three Caballeros
It's so sad that the ending animation in the ride was replaced with animatronics fairly recently, but at least we have the animation here to remember it! ;u;
It's If You Had Wings and Pirates of the Caribbean meets It's a Small World.
I love this ride I went there spring 2019 had the time of my life
And this is were I first found out who these guys were and I loved it
Sorry for the delay in responding - it is neat little ride - I Love it!
This is my favortie ride in EPCOT, and thats saying alot because it's beating Test Track and Soarin'
Hidden Mickeys everywhere! I bet I could watch this 10 times and not catch them all!
***** I only caught a few myself
I wish that ride was in my state, California.
my brother is ready to ride the ride he is so excited ready
I liked the old ( original) it was dark and captivating. Indiania Jones feel to it.
Snakes hanging from trees, distant temple with eruption. I like the cool breeze as the boat was moving along the waterway.
This is too bright, loud and doesn’t fit with the dark ambiance of adventure. It doesn’t have any rhyme or reason...
Cartoons on Aztec walls as you float by. Dumb idea.
This is must do ride when travelling to WDW's Epcot.
ISE D- I agree
I rode it twice! I just had to I love it!!
One exotic scene in the ride is the room with 3 panels with one panel shows a Mariachi band, Donald and Panchito (panel 1), then the girls performing a "paso doble" dance in panel 2, and panel 3 is Jose Carioca pulling Donald from some girls.
Best. ride.
Princess Olivia and Jose carioca are falling in love and best friends forever and ever
My boys aaaa 🥺🥺🥺 ❤️💚💙 🇲🇽🇧🇷🇺🇸
Those emojis are how I represent them
😅
The three caballeros
They really should renovate this ride put some animatronics somewhere in there to replace all the crappy paper looking Small World stuff and actually add the three caballeros
In Disneyland or in Epcot because I just went 3 weeks ago and there was no change
+Samuel Hernandez Epcot
Proof? I need link...nevermind i found it
Some were added a few years ago
It's getting a Coco reskin in the future.
If you ask me they ruined it. However, the spirt of Mexico is stilled weaved into it.
Great vid. This is the first time I've heard of it and ridden it.
It smells so good in there
(4:02-4:06) Excuse me we're looking for a duck. Never mind. LOL
I don't know what they say the last scene.
Panchito and Joe have an accent???Please tell me!
Tell me what time to start at and I’ll tell you
i dont give a shit how old this is i love the caballeros
I hope Donald don’t like this Also José And Patchito is here part of Donald Duck a good friend for part of the The Three Caballeros’s journey Fan Club
I can help with that Whatever happens No one cares about Goofy or Mickey they end up alone without a job is blown away
Everybody is critic
They could keep the original and add coco by just changing the it's a small world like section! That way it's a two for one. I would prefer that to the ride being removed and taking Panchito and Jose away fully
¡YO QUIERO IIIIR! ;_;
Ih ó Acapulco a Praia do Chaves , Mano Quando Vi isso Deu Uma Saudades Do Chaves o Menino do Barril
I remember seeing all the memes about Hose. I’m losing it.
A little sad they replaced the ending animation now with animatronics but at least this vid will remind me of the good ol' days, thanks for uploading it 😊😊😊
I Love. This ride
Andrea Salas Me too - so simple but I love it
6:36 when the birds are being repaired
I miss the original version on this ride: El Río del Tiempo; and the original song too composed for the ride.
We need a new show based on them! There’s literally nothing left besides their movie, the ride, and only a couple of episodes of the house of mouse.
Payf there ir a new show!! Is called the legend of the tree caballeros and it is totally awesome
fernanda sanchez i found out about it when the low quality intro was on RUclips lol. from there I begged to god it would be worldwide. I started watching the show on RUclips and I have to agree. It’s a great show.
and it's coming to Disney + on DAY 1???
so they were at first screen and then replaced into animatronics
I prefer this version then the new version.
And me.
Love the attraction its always fun and a way to cool off. We just interviewed the current voice of the birds ( Carlos Alazraqui ) on our show at www.DizRadio.com
GREAT VIDEO PANDA!!! The quality is amazing!
+Jonathan Johnson Thank you Jonathan - I need to hear that interview - AWESOME
Notice the pattern? Whenever a change happens people say “I miss the old version 😔😔😔” then a change happens to that version and they’ll say how much they miss it. Let’s face it, y’all are biased towards what you’re used to. Give new things a chance instead of saying how sad you are that it had to change.
No, this was a simple case of replacing an authentic cultural experience for some blathering, yacking Disney characters to appeal to the kiddies.
Then, by your perspective, take out Mona Lisa from the Louvre snd replace it for a new versión. Disney has a bad history of wrong replacements in all their parks. Each “new version” makes me cry. No one has been as good as the original. I’m a regular Disney guest since 1972, so I know what I mean.
Thank you.
I ate at that Mexican restaurant there I got sour stomach the next day
Mexican can do that to you
Scott Dustin So I guess the Mexican food really IS authentic! :P
to be fair, that happens with all food at disney
no worries, that happens every time i eat mexican food, disney or not
@@daliesk1472 not me🖒
I Love at
Good job
This ride doesn't exist anymore, does it? This would've been fun to go on, where ever it is.
It's a current attraction
It's in Epcot inside the giant Mayan temple
This ride currently operates but replaced a significantly better one.
2020 and it’s still here, it’s in the back of the Mexico pavilion in Epcot.
2022 and google says it's still there I guess
Here after the animatronics were taken down and were replaced by cardboard cutouts.
3:17 it looks like Donald is hanging by a noose
2:23 Donald duck ball
elizabeth afton (circus baby) lia afton (circus blueby) miken williams afton (shadow freddy) andrew afton (icefrost protogen)
Imagine how much time did panchito's animatronic to make... lol
Is it just me or the 1st and 2nd version of the music is out of sync?
Iría a Disneyland solo para ir a ese tour de los tres caballeros pero no c inglés y me dan miedo los aviones jsjsjs xdxdxd
did they stole some dolls from " it's a small world ?
3:16 , HAHAHAHA!!!!! That is funny because in real Mexico we love to break piñatas of Donald....Trump!
Funny
Cristobal Rojas not really
Very funny
😂😂😂
Good one
Love you I8ll
If they don't add in some Coco stuff to this ride then idk what these people are doing.
WTF is coco
@kellyoliveira3890 It's a really good Disney movie.
@@zacbohannon9553 oh ok
SNIFFLES AND SNUFFLES
Fun fact: the 2d animation in this ride were done by Eric Goldberg
jose carioca represents Brazil
Now hes represent mexican
Does anyone remember what this ride was before the Gran Fiesta Tour? When I was little, I think it was like some kind of tour around Mexico, or something like that.
oopiekloha It was basically the same - I think called El Rio De Tempo - River of time - I probably am off a bit but it was almost the same without the characters
El Río del Tiempo (River of Time)... and it was better by far.
Only Mexico's scenes? What about Brazil?
Vamos torcer para que um dia tenhamos o nosso espaço em coisas desse tipo
I love the three combeyeros there so funny there awesome characters plz dont tuen this into a coco ride
6:44 they are baddies ...
Am I the only one who notices the ride uses Hanna-Barbera sound effects? They sound out-of-place, and they should of used the classic Disney sound effects instead.
FanimationXV I never did notice that
First of all they removed the animatronics with a TV
Animatronics are still there
Martha
This looks like a cool ride, but I think that it would be even cooler without the overwhelming cartoon voices and cartoon sound effects that kill whatever ambience this ride has. It's the epitome of sensory overload. The original "Three Caballeros" movies had some AWESOME live-action/animation scenes and music, and I think that those should have been included here (especially the scenes with Carmen Molina). However, I guess Disney has to do something to attract the kiddies. . .
JoMarieM I went on it again yesterday - I see what you are saying - it is festive and fun so doesn't go too badly
I’m disappointed the screen at the end doesn’t exist anymore at Disney World
Really? I love the animatronics SO much more
I just like the original, organic, cartoony look of them. Once again this just my opinion.
Lolololololololololove it
5:30
Lesson book for Americans! Approve d! Fathers and sons! Hand out!
Everything about this ride doomed Epcot. Let's scrap Mayan scientific achievement for some cartoon characters. Ratatouille is doing it right. New ride for the family, YET keeping the original (maybe soon-to-be updated) cultural film for inquiring minds. As a kid, I ate up Maelstrom and El Rio del Tiempo. Instead of reading things in a text book, I was experiencing them. It made me have the wanderlust I have today. I didn't need Donald duck for that.
Yes, yes, and yes!
What a mess. No sense of place. Screens playing competing cartoons left, right, and center. Imagineers used to do such amazing work.
bueno al menos no es coco...
Soon it will be, for sure !!!
Pronto lo será, seguramente.
