You're a rock star babe! I have learned more from you than I have anywhere else. Thank you so much for helping me start out with an idea of what I'm doing. I would've been lost without these videos!
I never comment on YT, but I had to say out of all these stylists on here you have the most natural talent and best eye I’ve seen for getting the most impact with the least fiddling around. Every time I do my own hair I check with you first to remind myself of your placement, teasing, weaving technique, and how much hair you actually leave out!
That is beautiful! I'm 60 years old and I retired a couple of years ago. I did hair for 45 years and I miss it so bad!!! I watch your videos and I almost cry. I would do anything if I could work again. Thank you for feeding my addiction.
I love love love this! This is what I have asked for every time I go to a stylist. I always end up with a ton of super blendy babylites that just makes my hair look like the new growth is just a shade or two lighter (my ends are bleached out). I’ve been to 4 different stylist in the last 3 years and haven’t found someone that understands what I’m asking for. I have definitely paid more than $275 as well. Thank you for this video! I love your personality and appreciate your communication skills.
As a hairstylist myself, sometimes there can be a breakdown in communication between a stylist and client. You may have already done this, but just in case, when you go to your next stylist bring lots of pictures! Make sure your stylist really gets what you want before you start your service. :)
Hey! This video was super helpful! I have a client who wants this but she has grown out highlights! Could i do this technique but add dark in between? Thank u! Xxx
Hi kristi I absolutely loveeeeee what you do and your work is alwayssss so beautiful. I just started using blonde me because of your work. I however experienced swelling dripping madness. After lots of thought obviously this was a chemical reaction to prev box dye and junk in the hair. Do you typically pretreat the hair before using blondeme ? Have you ever experienced this ? I wanna love it because I absolutely love the results I’m just so scared 😩 thank you for all your knowledge you share with us ❤️
I just did my daughter’s hair and at the roots, where I back combed, there’s a yellow orange band and, yes, I started at the front and worked back. Also the back blonde definitely isn’t as blonde as the sides and front and I did only one scoop of lightener at a time so it was a fresh bowl. What should I do???🙏🙏🙏
Are you supposed to always have a toner when working with blonde? I asked for this done yesterday and my hairdresser washed the colour off and never toned it, and it looks really warm. I did ask for face framing blonde too which I didn’t get to this extent? My hairdresser is usually amazing too?!
Hi Kristi, LOVE your videos, as always, and love your voiceovers, you crack me up!! Question -- can you show an after shot of the hair line the way you it? As well as more shots of head on? I would like to see it as if they were looking in a mirror and we are the mirror (so that would be straight on to the camera, duh, Meagan...🤦🏼♀️ sorry lol....its been a Monday!) Okay so have them look straight on to the camera, and flip their hands through their part, side to side, that way we can get a full look at the whole head? I feel like I'm missing it when all you show is the back and crown....even tho I love that too... I just want to see more lol thanks, girl!!! Love ya!!!! Wish you could do my hair!!!
Hello! The reason I never, or very rarely show head on, is cause most clients dont want their face shown, so I always try to get the back/ side and as close to the front as I can get. Il try showing more of thru the hair before the official after shot..... I honestly hate when I see videos of people flipping around their hair constantly running their fingers thru it. Im always yelling, LEAVE YOUR HAIR ALONE! I can't see it! Lol so il try to add that at the chair, so then I can comb it into place again. Thank you!
How do we do this when it goes from natural root into darker color into highlights.? It drives me nuts trying to achieve a nice soft look without those uneven tones
You’re amazing!! I love watching you apply 😻 I have a question though, I do you like to talk to your clients while you’re applying about what you’re doing and WHY you’re doing it? I feel like I do that a little tooo much ..
My hair is almost grown out exactly like hers after i already did 2 sessions and still not where I want to be. I really wish I could get my hair done by you..
Beautiful as always! Kristi, do you ever lowlight to break up areas that are too solidly blonde? I can't recall if I've ever seen a video where you lowlighted someone.
I haven’t seen anyone fold the foil “over/front” of the comb. It’s usually “behind” the foil comb. Kinda like, how do you place your toilet paper 😅 if that makes sense lol. Is there a reason you fold your foil over the comb that way?.
😂😂oh yeah! I get it….. have you watched anyone foil and then before they fold up they go under the foil and push it tight against the scalp one last time? I don’t do that but that’s one reason to fold, to create that lip to pull the foil back up. The reason I do is because how I use to foil , the foils would sit literally straight off the head so after folding the foil up I’d push that lip up and it would support the foil and help it lift off the head. I know you can’t visualize it but that’s just the way I’d foil
I wish there was a clear sectioning beforehand, for those of us who don't know where to place the foils.. instead of just going through the whole head where only you know it would be. Other than that it's great. But not easy to follow for someone who don't know everything. :)
Girl you're not a hairdresser, you're an artist! Love your work
Oh thank you so much! So sweet!

Whooo hoo!
Very good👏👌
How long does a process like this take you? I know it depends on thickness, starting level, etc, but just curious how long this one took.
What volume did you use on the ends of the hair to brighten up
What volume developer did you use?
Omg sooooo gorgeousssss
Thank you!
Love your explanation!

Hopefully that link works, you can see how the foil doesn’t lay in the head it stands off of it
