  • Whenever you connect ICs to your Arduino or Raspberry boards:
    Were you ever curious to decode the info printed on your ICs?
    Here it is. In a two parts video, today is about the manufacturing date, the next week about the electronic diagram hidden in the package and the typical technology versions used to build logic circuits.
    What about the reasons behind printing the week number instead of the month and day?
    The examples in the two files give you answers. Both files are on google drive here:

    It is my first time to understand the 4 digits manufacturing date as year and week.

    That's cool SN being the prefix for texas instruments, it being Tin.

      @mineown1861 They also use TL for analog circuits and also TMS. The other manuf. don't do any better either, the letters are rarely having anything to do with the actual company name. Cheers.
