00:01 iPhone potato-image shot at night
28:11 professional Porsche Advertisement with a production cost of 50k$
the hell did you do that?
btw instant sub 👍🏻
Samson Kipp haha thanks so much!!
*Maybe start at **0:04**. The grainy picture in the very beginning wasn't the original, it was just the original with some grain effect added onto it. The actual original shot already looked like a Porsche Advertisement... He made it better, but not off of an iPhone potato shot. lol. The picture right from the beginning already looks too perfect like a 3D render for concept artwork, rather than a real photo. But none the less, the techniques are still relevant.*
@@AzNightmare thats what I thought, wasn't sure tho.
Thanks for the video! Don’t feel rushed either, the attention to detail is what we are here for!
you prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Duncan Xander Instablaster =)
@Victor Dominick thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Victor Dominick It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@Duncan Xander happy to help :D
Love how you're not using vague phrases like "to make things pop" and just say "to increase the contrast" when adjusting settings
okay thanks man!
its amazing how much you did only with color adjustments im really impressed waiting for next vid.
Mikołaj Dąbrowski thanks man!
It's been a long time since i watched a 30minute video entirely!! Awesome ideas!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I recommend using the auto geometry settings in Lightroom to adjust the photo so everything is straight and then crop it, saves a lot of time,
Amazing video though 🙏🏻
Came home at 1am saw the notification and had to watch this there was no way I was missing it. So worth it bro amazing job
Angelo Haak thanks so much bro
Been suggested to me today and I have found my new favourite editing channel. Great Video

I learned a lot from this vid. Thanks a bunch, Damian. Will apply some of your thought processes to my photos on Instagram.
thanks!
Never gave the Patch tool because the preview just looked weird, glad I watched this. Txs for the video!
You're welcome!
2 years ago and I’m so impressed 🙏 thanks a lot
Glad I could help!
You're a wizard, Damian!
Kapeesh Manilal haha thanks!!!
Great video and photography! Also, in case you didn't know about this shortcut , you don't need to select all layers and duplicate them in order to create a flattened image of all layers. You could just select the top layer and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E on Windows or Cmd+Shift+Option+E on Mac.
thanks for the tip!
Mind. Blown. Very impressive... looking forward to watching more of your videos
thanks so much
Impressive video, definitely giving me ideas for my next photography tutorial and photoshoot!👌
I just woke up and you can’t believe how hyped i was when i got the notification of your video, keep it up man very nice content

Colin Larkins thanks!

Thank you so much!!
*JUST WOW*
thanks!
Good Job! Keep on doing those tutorials. Really detailed and well explained. Cheers from Germany.
thank you!
Thank you for posting this edit. Was great to see how you got from the original image to the finished image. Doubt that you need any tips but a handy one that I use a lot is Shift/option/command/E to make a stamped layer of all the visible layers below. Like at the end when you combined the layers to make the final Camara Raw edits. Thanks again, great job.
Rich Thul thanks for tue tip!!
Absolutely fantastic job with the photo Damian, it shows that You have a lot of experience with this, love Your taste in color and overall processing. Thank You VERY much for sharing the knowledge with us. Eager to see more!
dash3dot thanks so much for the kind comments :)
The shadow of that spoiler is just so... tumescent.
The original photo has so much detail in the shadows and highlights.
Changing BG. Okay.
Changing the car with dodge and burn. No go for me.
Thanks for sharing your work.
Thx fr ur guidance. its really helpfull.
My pleasure 😊
Would love to see a video where u show us the proces from taking a photo to editing it (would be awesome if u used a basic camera or even your phone to shoot so everyone can try it at home)

I'm not even shooting car photography, I shoot portraits and fashion, but this is such a great tutorial! Saved it to watch later, who knows when this will be useful. Thank you for sharing this amazing lesson! :)
Adrian Conete thanks for the kind words!
Loved seeing this type of tutorial as car photography is where I started along with nature and I never knew the techniques and how people did all of this and now that I am full time doing video I dont get to shoot cars much anymore. Now I want to go out and do a shoot so I can work on some of this stuff! Thanks!
Derek Livingston glad you liked it!
Absolute fantastic!!! pleasure to look at this
NOW IS GOOD thanks!
Loved this, and from just the one exposure, great tutorial and one I will keep coming back to for reference, thank you.
Stuart Macrae thanks so much!
Hi Damian. Little tip. When you want to merge all the layer, just click on the top layer and press Control + Shift + Alt + E. It will just merge all visible layers into new layer :)
Arek Arek thanks for the tip:)
Wow, it's amazing how you made a completely different image at the end. It's a completely different ambiance. It takes some real creativity to come up with little details, like the black front, or darker glass. Also never knew a car looks better when not reflecting lights. It's meant to be shiny. But it does look better. So many nice touches. Great work.
Vladan Perovic thank you!
Nice, this is just what i was looking for. Subscribed !!
Awesome, thank you!

Which cam did you use for that shot?
BTW awesome video!
I did not shoot this photo, only retouched it.

Hier könnte Ihre Werbung stehen thanks so much :):)
Am I the only one that think those purple colors should have been desaturated as well? (especially around the tail lights)
Mikael S-P in hindsight yes I could have done that but I don’t think it destroys the image
@@DamianPlisko they don't, but they look a little weird when pinching in
Thank you very much for a very inspiring video! The picture was very nice !!
bildillamagasin thank you!
That was a great Tutorial, thanks.
sparkplug964 thanks for watching!
Really nice vid, thanks!
Tip 26:23, I think it's possible to do the flatten process by pressing cmd/ctrl+alt+shift+e. It will create a duplicate based on what is currently visible on screen! :)
thanks!
Can you provide the original image? So we can follow along?
yes please upload the image!
@@ThePixelitomedia i will try so with the next tutorial!
Love the videos. Make alot more
Steel City Supercars will do!! :)
Loved it and learned a lot. The only thing for me was that lighting in the top left you added not my taste, but the final picture looks out of this world, big thumbs up. Anyway thank you so much for this tutorial. I definitely subbed and will be watching the rest of your videos.
Chris Ascencio thank you!
It is so easy to straighten the lines in lightroom, so much easier than photoshop
I think Photo Damian and CGI Damian (me) should Collab.
Edit: Wait, we even have the same amount of subs. I guess this proves the Matrix was real all along.
LOL, wow what a crazy coincidence! We should collab at some point, would be rad!
@@DamianPlisko Yeah, maybe I render and you do post? Would be a sick 2 part video. You can hit me up at db at mouval com!

Fantastic job Damian, I stumbled across your channel after seeing your comment about the Sony A7iii. I forgive you for that after seeing your work lol.
Paul Matthew Hill thank you!! Please refresh my mind though, I don’t recall which comment that was ..
Oh! Good tutorial. Cool!!
STUDIO RA thanks!
Great, quick edit. Thanks!
thanks!
Hey ! Is that possible to get the unedited photo ? I would like to train by following your video step by step with it 🤞
Damian, in last merging step, you don't need to duplicate all layers, just press cmd alt shift E (ctrl shift alt E on pc), it will merge down all visible layers into new one!
thanks for the tip!
Very good tutorial and gave me lots of good ideas for couple of my own car photos. Especially with the color corrections. One thing that got me wondering a bit was the straightening process. Why you didn't use Lightroom's "transform" menu so you didn't have to recreate empty spaces?
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks! I used photoshop for those things because its faster and more powerful
nice guide, Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I love this!
William Bergman thank you!
You're amazing guy 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dennis Duina thanks man!
Talented! subbed!
thanks!
Great Edit!
Stefano D'Agostino thanks!
Cool video, nice to see the build up. I can appreciate you did the end first and then recorded it but it would have been nice to see you organically, how long did the original edit take? Also at the end you took all the layers and flattened them, why not just create a stamp visible layer? Look forward to seeing more videos and Merry Christmas.
Vish Patel great feedback thank you!
Great tutorial. I never knew about the patch tool.
